His only downside was he liked to party. He did so much but I can't even imagine how much greater his career would've been if had dialed back the partying and focused more off the field. For a few years he was the greatest in the world, and he did it with a style and flair which made a whole generation fall in love with the beautiful game. The crazy part is he did this while partying and drinking pretty much 5-6 days a week, man was pure talent. Ronaldinho is by far my all-time favorite footballer. He's definitely in the GOAT convo. He's like the Allen Iverson of football, except he has won titles...lol. The only real difference between him and Messi, is that Messi is just more 'serious minded'. But Ronaldinho, even though he loved the game, he also loves life. When he played at the highest pro-club levels in Europe and represented Brazil internationally, he partied almost every night. That was just his personality. He would bring the ball to the opponent goal line on side of the goal, near the goal. And stand there. And the opposing team players did not want to go attack him. Because if he make a move on him he would pass them and its a goal chance.
