I'm glad he made you proud since he didn't want to sing this. He wanted to sing a shortened version of Stand Up but Simon and the show wouldn't let him so he did the best he could with the song which was magnificent. Had he sang Stand Up he'd have made the finals. Also, during his first audition he sang And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going. It was so beautiful that Simon made him sing another song so he had to sing Run to You. Simon didn't want Gabriel to outdo Putri and that's wht he made him sing another song. Simon is wrong and very unfair and worked against Gabriel instead of for Gabriel the entire time.

Isn’t Gabriel hitting Whistle tone notes; which, are piercing when he first goes up into the rafters? Steps out from behind the mic Stand beginning a long sustaining belting note. Then he hits some rifts/runs that are still high up, but the tone of these notes are softer. Aren’t they called “Flute tone Notes”? Since they sound like notes from a flute?
