Getting to know the artist is very wise! Gabriel brings years of experience and just keeps growing artistically. It's quite a journey 🇧🇷🔥as for AGT, I think there was serious manipulation when it came to the solo singers. Gabriel asked to sing "Stand up" as it allowed him to get the wow factor out there. But was denied. Other solo singers were given songs outside their comfort zone and suffered for it. Bands, choirs and duos are not told what to sing. Just solo artists. Why would they be denied the chance to showcase their artistry their way? And why were they given songs not reflecting that artistry? Manipulation. But that's why the show is classified as a reality show, not a competition. Gabriel is better off 🇧🇷🔥

A dog actually won the season and, granted, the dog was very well trained and adorable, but Gabriel is a stellar talent that only comes around very rarely. Some wrong and inaccurate information. Gabriel's birthday is January 7th. Whitney Houston is her biggest inspiration in the song and she wasn't even mentioned in the video. Gabriel doesn't have a vocal coach. There is no video on the channel where Gabriel is singing alongside a quartet of women.

Só lembrando que o 1o lugar daquela ediçao do American Got a Talent foi dado a um número circense de um homem com seu cão. E o segundo lugar, um truque de cartas (!). Não havia espaço para um finalista que fosse cantor ou cantora, Gabriel Henrique nao se classificou nem aquela adolescente cega da Indonésia, que cantava muito bem também. Depois eu conferi quem venceu os últimos 3 AGT, desde 2020. Nenhum vencedor foi músico ou cantor(cantora), quer dizer, o programa nao é mais preferencialmente para novos talentos musicais, é para estes números diferentes. Eu pessoalmente achei essa escolha de praticamente tirar a música das premiaçoes um rebaixamento muito grande do AGT. Nem falo de um número com um cão treinado tirar o 1o lugar, mas um truque de cartas ganhar o segundo lugar foi demais para mim.

In my opinion, AGT is more like a carnival audition platform. They are interested in acts with performing animals, jugglers, large dancing groups, magicians, comedians, and singers. Okay. But going to the circus isn’t done as often today as in years past, and again, in my opinion, AGT is an oddity in that way. Maybe they were thinking of acts you could perform in Las Vegas, I don’t know, but the show is losing whatever edge or vision they had in the beginning. The dog was cute, the act was cute, but compared to a world-class singing talent? Really a strange choice. And frankly, is a dog, no matter how cute and smart, an American human? There are shows for animals with talent, and I think there should be a delineation between human beings and animals on shows like these. Maybe it’s the dog trainer who should’ve been honored. After all, is the dog going to use the award money? I was/am embarrassed by the American vote. To me, it was like a dog handler being awarded ‘Best in Show’ at a dog show instead of the dog! There was no one as talented as Gabriel on that show. Even Putri had pitch issues, which Gabriel didn’t. And a dog doing tricks can’t compare to a human being showing extraordinary, unique ability. Plus only the singers were restricted in what they were allowed to perform. You can’t expect a dog to change what he trained to do because you want something different. But the producers would not allow Gabriel to choose the song for his second audition and that seems heavy-handed and manipulative to me. Gabriel sang what he was asked to sing perfectly but that’s not the point. Anyway, now that it’s over, I think it’s best that Gabriel didn’t win because they would have controlled and restricted his choices just like they did on the show. Ugh. I’m glad he is free to do what HE wants to do, as opposed to being treated like a trained monkey. But no more AGT for me!
