I’m an at home mama/ professional and experimental artist. I do commission and gallery work in my small mountain community, Sandpoint Idaho.
*Paints are mixed about 1 part golden Fluid Acrylic to 4 parts GAC 800 and a bit of water.
*GAC magic is about 1 part golden fluid acrylic titanium white to 4 parts GAC 800, Then about 1 part decoart satin enamel.
** Color correction, I called it black oxide, it is in fact carbon black by Golden Fluid Acrylic.

Sara Hi! I found you just two days ago and this morning followed your textured paint tutorial. Stunningly, you named this painting Gabriel who you’ve said is the brother of a friend who is going through some difficult times….I think this was painted in 2021. Ironically our son Gabriel was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2021 and just passed away this July 2022. I believe in signals and signs from Our loved ones who have transitioned and I do believe I was directed to your beautiful paintings for a reason. Oh my goodness, I’m just seeing this now, I’m so very sorry for your loss. My friend Gabriel also passed about six months ago. Life is so tender, yet it surges and is so powerful. I think that’s what this painting was all about was the energy of life but the fragility of it as well. My prayers go to you and your family. I hope you can find peace within the storm. 🙏

The painting is really cool but I loved your story about Gabe and how we always have something to be grateful for. That is what I do as well. I haven't always had the best health, lol, but when I'm having a flare up I always say I am lucky I have never gone hungry because I didn't have money for food. I've never been homeless for I've always had a roof over my head. I am blessed to have my two kiddos while others have trouble conceiving. When it's all to easy to dwell on the bad things, we need to really take stock of what good things we have in our lives.

I have never seen anything like this!!! Of the thousands of videos I have watched doing acrylic pours, epoxy and resin and the numerous countertops and table tops of done, BY FAR, this is my very very favorite!!! I am overflowing with emotion and perhaps should gather myself before I say much here. Aside from the gratitude and great respect I continue to have for your skill, your generosity and your respect for the environment....occasionally your process has caused tears to well up; tears of joy, of wonderment and of a sense of kinship. Gabriel - you and Gabriel, have burst the banks of a river of tears - I have rarely known such a release of grief to come from anywhere but my own quiet spiritual place, a place that as a carer, or 'soignant' here in France, I would not be able to do my work. I am soggy and exhausted now and so, so grateful for you touching my world. I know I will feel fantastic after a good sleep. Bless.

Your work is beautiful and inspiring. I just began experimenting with fluid art a year ago (I’m 85). I used to work with oils and loved to relax after work by painting landscapes and seascapes. But the vivid, brilliance of acrylics and the way they move on the canvas is incredibly eye catching. (I also envy your mountain community.
