I like the way that you draw with the paint. It’s very unlike other painting processes I’ve seen, but reminds me more of the gestural nature of drawing. Your negative space and your composition are well-balanced. Kind of reminds me of a Giger drawing

It was right? It's all in the mix. Some measure by eye. Some actual measuring cups. You'll find what you like mixing. Dif mixes and paints give dif effects. I am def inspired to try and find the base coat paint in here. Never tried it. And def getting the right consistency. That's EVERYTHING. Like warm honey. Thick enough the cells hold shape after its dry. Practice that. Get that right.. You can do anything! Happy painting 🤗

Very unique and interesting piece. When I view the completed artwork, I see a dragon flowing across and off the sides. The upper right side middle area has a distinct eye within the slender head turned toward the right looking back. Not suggesting that is what it was meant to be. This is purely what I see. It is a beautiful intricately detailed symbolic dragon in my eyes.💞
