13:27 I can only see transparency in mine. Though if I linked the alpha from the Sample Texture 2D node instead of from the Split node, the ripple will then appear. Can anyone please tell me what may be wrong. Also I used Gimp Instead to create ripple texture. And I can't find if there is any Outer Glow in GIMP. So I Duplicated the Layer and use blur. And after importing the texture, in the Inspector I set the images Alpha Source to Input Texture Alpha.

I shifted the mask texture and multiple to the very end (after the color part is done), and only apply it at the alpha stage (after the split node), and it seems to work.

probably offset the uvs from blender just have a different object with uvs pushed up or down on the Y after making them completely square on the uv map

My attempts so far have apply the alpha mask across the entire shader. The image that i am using for the mask is a white square wit the outer edges dissolving to black. Any suggestions?

Does this shader have any problem with the Universal Render Pipeline? Because when I try to add the Foam, everything becomes white, and if I move away from the waterfall, it looks like a giant point light.

Like if I wanted to create something original I'd be pretty screwed... Want to find a tutorial that goes into a lot of fundamentals I think rather than just describing how a specific shader was put together... Like what was the thought processes that went into coming up with it etc...

I'm gonna give you one tip that always helps me. Visualize the effect on your mind and divide it into smaller parts/sections. If you want, you can even pick a piece of paper and start breaking the effect apart, making drawings and taking notes. Then start with what your are more comfortable with.
