If I remember correctly, Goober said she only saw Moana once; so, I understand why the coconut mission confused her. That being said, I made my Maui a gardener for the very reason he made coconuts: "I took an eel and buried its guts, now you have coconuts" (or however the lyric went in You're Welcome)

Always adore your play throughs because you present so much joy towards the game. I’m watching while working and not finished watching but wanted to point out 2 things: 1. As a switch owner I hate having to go in buildings so Goofy’s crafting station outside his home was super helpful until I was able to craft my own. 2. The fridges do act as storage now, it’s super nice to store all the cooking ingredients like a real life fridge.

the eel mission for maui is actually based on a story from polynesian mythology! in some regions, it's believed that a goddess Hina, who is usually married to Maui in the stories, starts an affair with a man named Tuna that can turn himself into an eel. Maui finds out about this and fights him, kills him, cuts off his head and buries it in the sand. A few days later, coconut trees sprouted from where the head was buried. that's one version of the myth, at least

if you are low on funds, grab absolutely EVERYTHING and sell it. doing every area about three times (giving it time to respawn inbetween) usually racks up about 30K easily. so that way, you can expand your inventory space and make it easier on yourself 😊 oh and invest in making chests, the bigger ones cost more resources but if you want to clear missions easier by saving up resources, it’s the easiest way to do it

Helpful tip for crops is to plant them in the exact area you buy them. They grow in half the time. Carrots are also the best way to make profit FAST!

Gab, a big tip for cooking if no one has said; if you look at the recipe button when you are cooking, and know what dish you need to make, you can select it, and autofill the ingredients for the dish to make the dish faster rather than doing each ingredient one at a time.

On a side note, did you know there is an entire brand new update from Ghostwire Tokyo, it seems what we got last year at launch was kind of half the story. And also half gameplay! In between the old cutscenes there’s new cutscenes that transition that flesh out things way more, New enemies and new story stuff and new weaving techniques that’s crazy, even the hand gestures seem somewhat fluid now with new animations entirely and the spiders thread mode which is super difficult and exhilarating

Gab makes me wanna play this again, I haven't played it in sooo long but I know when I do I play it for hours on end it's so addicting and there's so much to do all the time, definitely one of the best games I've ever played. I would honestly say it may be better than animal crossing as there are so many side quests in the game and so much more to do than there is in animal crossing, it's awesome.

For the eel becoming a coconut tree, it's because in the myth (if I remember correctly) a coconut tree sprouted for the decapitated head of an eel. This is a Polynesian myth bu the way, unfortunately I don't remember the name PS : That's why you can see a face on a coconut since it's a head. Hope that's help

@@Raven5666 I got it for the switch and I like it so far. The founder pack had a lot in it. The game feels a bit sluggish at times. Loving it so far the inventory makes me a little sad costs so much when you’re poor in the beginning lol. The controls are similar to my other games so it feels very familiar from the start. I can tell that I’ll be on the game for awhile. Can’t wait to see what unfolds as I get more characters.

@@Raven5666 I got the ultimate seemed like the best value wise. Only $52 you get everything with that tier. I didn’t get it for the PC because I have Sun Haven installed. I’ve been ignoring my switch since I’m off and on with Stardew right now. The sale of 30% ends on 4/17 so you still have time to decide which one you want to get. I like having my switch with me at work. I do the same when getting a new game. PC is always going to be the best option imo.

I have so many consoles that I've been ignoring; I know this is gonna sound weird, but I feel bad for ignoring them. Some games I find are like, made for PC and keyboard controls. Like, to play a HOG on a console to me is weird; that's a mouse game. So when I learn a game is out for console and PC I get stuck and never know what to get it on. Unless I don't own the console lol.

the fastest way i make money in this game is planting 99 tomatoes on the beach. you can do more than 4 batches a day and it makes you a lot of money. easy to do when you’re low level and can’t get pumpkins yet

Did the update fix the game breaking bugs that stopped us from progressing??? I haven’t played bc I wasn’t able to complete quests. Disney made sure the micro transactions sections work perfectly well tho.
