If the gems are in black box, all three statements are true. If the gems are in white box, all three statements are false. If the gems are in blue box, blue is true (gems not in white), white is true (gems not in white), and black is false (gems are in black). So, the gems were in blue box.

I came to the comments to say exactly this. The instructions are intentionally left a little bit vague. The trick is that regardless of the three statements, 1 statement HAS to be true and 1 statement HAS to be false. The third statement can be true OR false. After that, only 1 box has a reward, so you have to use the clues (either 2 true, 1 false, or 2 false, 1 true) to find the prize box

If the QA team is watching I have suggestions for improvement! - show which doors need a key in the mini map - for the store room, add a + sign next to the resources because I thought you needed to spend those resources, not that you got them - if I can’t pick a floor plan (not enough gems or something) then grey it out I do love this game though!! And gab idk how you were so lucky with your draws, I kept getting dead ends 😢

@ have you ever played Betrayal at the House on the Hill? It’s a horror exploration game that uses random events via cards to trigger an endgame scenario. It’s a lot of fun. The second edition of the game coupled with the Widow’s Walk expansion gives 100 possible scenarios. I always wished that a genuine video game version of that game would come out. This game shows how easily it could be made digital imo.

The boudoir safe code is hinted at in a picture in the boudoir, you don't have to go anywhere, but basically the picture shows when the safe was acquired, and that date is the combination.

Maybe if it was with multiple people the 50 steps would be spread out between players? 2 players=25 each… so then you really have to think about what your next room should be but would be able to cover more grounds. A good strategy for that would be to keep food rooms and bedrooms in the middle so steps could be either gain/not lost (cause basically the bedroom does not cost any steps)… gosh I now hope for a co-op mode! OOO maybe there could be a puzzle where 2 players are needed!

There's a bit more to the outside/grounds than you explored in your demo here - and there's also (I suspect) some more clues hidden in every room (Look at the two prints in each room and the chess pieces in most rooms feel suspicious...) I genuinely just love SO MANY ASPECTS OF THIS GAME, from the cozy crackling fireplace in the den, to the amazing art style, the backdrop of the massive mountain, I could keep going but some of my discoveries may be spoilers....anyways I cant wait for this game to be released. I am slightly disappointed that I can only play through the demo 3 times but I do understand why the developers chose to limit you to three runs. I am counting the days till the upcoming spring when we will hopefully have a full game to play.

Here is a hint that would help with the puzzles All of the upgrades are either outside the house or involves more than 1 room Notice the two pictures in each room. So I think I get how to choose the best layout possible, hence why they suggest you write information down If you have a limited number of each type of room, then you need to know those numbers. Ideally, there should only be 4 corner rooms in the 4 corners of your blueprint, so you have to strategize when those particular drafts come up. Since they're likely all randomized, knowing when to go there will be the hardest part about the game. Also ideally, the top-side dead end drafts should be at the very top row since you can't go beyond that row anyway So there's definitely a strategy of where to place each room and when, but only if the amount of rooms limit exists. Either there's multiple solutions to the layout, or just 1 perfect solution. This game is gonna be named the hardest jigsaw puzzle ever I think The replay factor is gonna make this game extremely fun!

I played this demo a lot over the summer! What a delightful, creative game. You can play the demo significantly, there is a LOT available. Maybe if it does well enough, they'd consider a physical board game version. Bet that could do really well too!

53:38 you got that safe deposit box key from the wine cellar. the tag on it said 233. maybe that was the code to the safe you found in the boudoir shortly after you find a red card in the conference room with safe code 9083. earlier in the first day, in the security room it said red notes lied. maybe the code was the reverse?

this game looks like SO MUCH FUN! I like the idea of single-player board games, but always worry I'm doing it wrong or accidentally cheating. In a video game format I don't have that worry and it has so much more potential and a better interactive experience. I do wish you could mark where the locked doors are, unless I missed that feature? I feel like if not, i'll make a template of the grid on my remarkable to keep track of between days of which doors are locked, where dig spots are, and what I keep in coat check
