Hopping on top comment to say 35:00 the symptoms of a werewolf sound a lot like the symptoms of rabies. The whole extreme thirst, fatigue, looking pale, drooling, aggressively attacking people while behaving like an animal and growling, the fact you become a werewolf in most Legends by being bit by a werewolf, that just screams rabies to me. Sometimes rabies victims are afraid of water but not always I wonder if cases of rabies were actually the origin of werewolves. And wolves themselves can and do carry rabies but healthy wolves for the most part totally avoid humans but lived in very close proximity to humans and livestock back then (because there were a much much larger amount of wolves because there wasn't as much development back then). A wolf with rabies would have no fear of humans it would just stand there and drool and then attack and bite if not kill the humans. So to onlookers and witnesses all they would see is a wolf not acting like a normal wolf who bites someone then they gets rabies and start behaving like a wolf. It would seem to them a clear case of lycanthropy. Rabies definitely existed back then but they didn't know it existed so cases of rabies would naturally be categorized as cases of lycanthropy.

These games *love* putting references to each other wherever they can. Brady Armstrong is an actor you meet in the fifth game, The Final Scene. Nigel's computer background shows him in the castle that the fourth game took place in. The Bul game Jane forces you to play to hear about the passageway was part of the sixth game. Oh, and clicking the chattery teeth a bunch of times makes something fun happen. :) If I remember correctly, the lady who voices Nancy is also the voice of Loulou. (She did the voice of some dark elves in Skyrim, too.) And the cakes you make for Loulou don't need to be proper ratios for nutrition, you just can't poison her, haha. An exclamation mark on the phone just means something has changed, like a new thing to search or a new thing that someone will say when you call them. I tend to ignore that when I play. :P

Here's some info about the poster in Jane's room that says "Der Ring des Nibelungen" for those who are curious: "Der Ring des Nibelungen" (translation: The Ring of the Nibelung) is a very well-known German opera by Wagner that is an adaptation of an old Germanic epic poem called the Nibelungenlied. The titular Nibelungs are a race of dwarves in the legend. My guess is that Jane has this opera poster and all those other ones (Aida, Madame Butterfly) on her wall because they're shows her mother has performed in

Cannot tell you how excited I was to see this pop up in my subscriptions. I've loved your other Nancy Drew playthroughs!

I’ve been playing the Nancy Drew games with my mom since I was 7. It’s been so much fun watching you play them!☺️

I'm so excited that you're playing more Nancy Drew! I played most of these growing up and I'm so excited to see your playthroughs. Your channel is a such a bright spot on KZbin.
