OK. Other Darkling Room games: Darkfall - The Journal (Very charming, very basic, cool story and creepy atmosphere). Darkfall 2 - Lights Out (Really disliked this one, odd time travel story and clunky graphics) Darkfall 3 - Lost Souls (Back to Dowerton Station, much better than the middle game. Very dark with a fair amount of gore compared to the others). The Lost Crown (A VERY lengthy ghost hunting epic. Lots of fun, slow paced 3rd person story with some neat visuals and creepy ghost gadget action). Play them in this order to make most sense of the occasional cross-references.

So, who was that?? Was it the demon? I'm confused with the lore cause some parts say not to listen to tbe voices, especially the children, but we need their voices to get clues and things to progress the game. Were they really the children, or just the darkness pretending to be them?

@@shhmaya I think the only ghosts you can trust are the ones that actually died on the grounds without being sacrificed there. You also can't trust any ghost that physically manifests as that takes way too much power. So you can only trust Thomas, Elizabeth, Ollie, and the Caretaker. Edgar (sacrificed, manifests), the Matron (died an old woman far away), Louise (adopted), Crying Child (manifests), Burning Child (manifests), and Isabella (sacrificed, manifests) are actually the entity. Ollie is the kid whispering "here" in your ear to help during the whole game from what I understand (notice you never hear it during the visions from the Dark Fall and it purposefully leads you to clues to fight the monster, such as warning you that's not the real Louise). "Louise" is also asking that physical things with emotional significance to her be collected and brought to appease her in exchange for a piece of the puzzle just like "Isabella" did to Thomas. The Burning Child also pulled that same trick.

Hummm, good game. Just disappointed at the "good" ending. I wished to see a scene or something of the spirits being released and at peace. But still, fun.

This and The Lost Crown are adventure games. So not much threat to your life, but it's focused on uncovering a mystery.

This was a great play through I really liked that this game was story driven I'm fine with there not being a whole bunch of jump scares to many games rely on that for my liking . This game was about what happened in this house and it's history the original family and later with the boarding school . As for figuring out that the voice was saying here well some streamers figured that out sooner than others that's all . As for the clues you have to remember that most were left by the staff of the children the staff where adults their trying to rationalize what they were experiencing . And they didn't want to scare the children . As for the kid's they had to find their own way to figure out what was going on the adults were no help so they had too come up with their own system one that didn't get them killed by something they couldn't fight against . I really enjoyed this game I would love for you too play the others I heard from another streamer that the previous game to this one had something to do with the Cornwall puzzle .

This was very cool storywise. Wished the puzzles had been more intuitive, a little more obvious. A threat could've been cool too. We kept hearing about the dark fall but never really saw it until the bad ending.

This was more forgiving than Dark Fall 1! I stumbled into the Dark Fall summoning area without all the clues, and it blocked me in, I had to guess! But I'd say this dark fall wasn't as scary as the first.

There are three other games with the "Dark Fall" title. They're pretty good, though I never finished the 3rd one Dx was just too tough. But I think you'd enjoy them! (assuming you haven't already played them, because they all have the "Here" whisper =x) Otherwise, enjoyed this playthough

I absolutely LOVE the BB cam (he needs his own stream/channel 🤓), even though, between him, you, the freaking confusing game and my fairly overwhelming exhaustion (it's 4:20 am here in Texas), here's a bit of random info: 🤔 I have replayed almost this ENTIRE VIDEO probably around 4-6 times because I don't want to miss any part of the story, you, or BB! I keep checking to see what you've used from your never-ending pocket-menu-of-holding, then not remembering how you used stuff, I am doomed to only to go back to a place I recognize fully in order to watch what's coming up... It's strongly hinted that you either ARE a grown up Nigel (the boy who dreamed of Saxton) or Patricia (one of the girls from Shangra-La and Nigel's partner against the Dark Fall in some of the other games). Adult Nigel is the main protagonist in those other games (At least one of which is actually IN Saxton and while viewing the paintings of Saxton in this game you can hear some dialogue lines from that game) and he's someone the Dark Fall seems obsessed with taking, thus why it arranged this whole trap.

If I'm not mistaken you are either Patricia or Nigel, both of which are protagonists in other Dark Fall games and both went to Shangra-La (the references to Saxton are referencing the game where they fight the Dark Fall in Saxton together). I suppose it's up to you and whether you want the protagonist to be male or female as to which you believe it is?

First
