I felt very sad for the baby Dino. The cows, chickens and ducks were showered with love from day 1, but the second she’s born she’s treated with suspicion. Will the other animals tolerate living with her? Will she try to steal and eat the others’ eggs? Poor, cute little Dino! 😭 Hopefully she gets more accepted over time!

As someone who does live on a farm taking care of animals and plants is relaxing! I have fun and it always puts me in a good mood. It is hard work though, especially during planting and gardening seasons!

After a long study day, I make myself a hot chocolate, I take my warm blanket and I start watching Stardew Valley while listening to Gab's soothing voice. This is the ultimate chill mood. I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but when the ancient seed produces fruit, use your seed maker to make more seeds. Continue to do so and fill your entire greenhouse. Also, ancient fruit by far produces the most expensive jams and wines. And, when you upgrade your house to the final size you'll get a basement with casks to age your wine that will be extremely beneficial.

Actually starfruit produces the most expensive wine, not sure about the jam but would think it would be the same as with wine. But yeah, ancient fruit is the second in line 😉. Definitely very profitable

@@essandera9499two years late lmao but the caveat with star fruit is that they don’t continue to reproduce like ancient fruit does. so, in order to maintain all star fruit crops in the greenhouse, you have to keep putting perfectly good star fruit in the seed maker forever, which would inherently make it less profitable

About the cat being outside: i do actually have a siberian cat and he literally sleeps outside on a pillow we left out during WINTER (i live in Norway) and i open the door to check if he wants to come inside and he just ignores me

I know this is going to sound weird, but I listen to these videos while I’m playing Stardew myself. I always need to have background noise (I’m weird like that), and listening to Gab is so relaxing. Love this series! You’re awesome!

The reason your character turns around so much when you're fighting is because you click too close to her. If you move your mouse away from the middle, you'll only attack in the direction you're facing and then you can aim easier with WASD

You can "turn down" the snowfall level so that it doesn't mess with video rendering or people's ability to view/enjoy your winter Stardew season. 💚😊💜 *Also, remember that you can cut down the trees in the quarry and if you completely clear all of the quarry and use the pickaxe to "un-hoe" all of the spots, you increase your chances for ore and minerals to spawn instead of just stones (though they are beneficial, too, of course). 💚😊💜 If you LEAVE THE TREE TRUNKS for an extra day or two, when chopping down trees for collecting wood purposes vs. clearing land for planting, etc, the tree trunks will spread that tree's seeds (acorns, pinecones, etc.) to the surrounding area, automatically renewing the trees to start growing IMMEDIATELY, making them available for you to source for more wood without you having to worry about replanting them as they are a limited resource.💚😊💜

Love this series so much! Your laid back gaming style fits this game perfectly. I just watch each episode with a giant smile on my face. I know there's a delay between when you stream these on twitch and upload to youtube but a small inventory suggestion: You can keep your milk pail for your cows in your barn where you keep the extra milks and cheese to free up an inventory slot. And if you do end up making a seed maker - I ended up turning my greenhouse into my seed production place - I eventually planted at least one of everything that pierre sells in there and gradually build up my seed quantities prior to each season for outside planting :) (though I did reserve for a patch of Ancient Seeds of course)

Having found your Stardew series is the best thing that happened to me in a long time. Love the game, the way you’re playing it and your calm and soothing voice - even when you get excited and let out a ”F*CK YEAH!”. So glad that some boxes got organized 😭 I had, like, angina watching the chaos every time a box was opened. Another thing I did that was nice (granted I play with only a keyboard so it was kind of necessary for me) was to organize my inventory. Keep my weapon, axe, pick axe in one row, my water can, hoe, scythe, and pan in a second row, and my fishing gear in the third row (of backpack)

I'm absolutely loving this playthrough! I first heard about this game from watching CallMeKevin, and this year I bought the game at the start of lockdown. Didn't play it right away because final fantasy 7 remake came out and I put in over 200hrs on that, then over 220hrs on stardew valley! I've actually just started watching Gab's playthrough of ff7 remake, can't believe she's not played the original ff7 before! Anyway, yeah, loving this series! ❤

I started playing Stardew Valley recently because of watching this playlist! It’s very fun! Although I don’t know if Gab’s just super lucky or I’m just super unlucky, because I’m mid-winter year 1, kinda like she is this video, and I haven’t been able to finish any Community Center bundles and both fishing and mining’s been super tough for me. It’s probably I’m super unlucky, LOL. Anyway, love the wholesomeness of this series and super happy to be able to play along! 😁

I know this is old but the rule of thumb is generally that big ticket items (ie melon) goes into wine because the higher the individual price th ebetter the multiplied result- but the lower the ticket item the more items replicate and the better the jam's Y-intercept improves the sell price. Which is why melon is so good as wine and cranberries and blueberries are so good as jam. Cranberries and blueberries are so populous and they have a good x-variable so they are efficiently processed into jam. But that takes a lot of wood and coal so it depends on your supply chain.

- Quality of the crop placed in the seed maker has nothing to do with the yield, whoever said that is wrong. You get 1-3 seeds of the same type as the crop, with a 1.99% chance that you'll get mixed seeds, and a 0.5% chance of ancient seeds. - Clear the quarry if it gets too full. More empty spots means more chance something valuable will spawn.

You can put crystal fruit into wine in the kegs. I grow the winter seeds outside as a winter crop for the crystal fruit wine.

Agriculturalist will, even without Speed-Grow, give you one more harvest out of very many crops each season as long as you plant on day 1. With good Speed-Grow and Agriculturalist together, sometimes two.

also I don't think chat told you, but that cave at the quarry leads to a golden scythe. If you have a good sword like a lava katana or an obsidian sword, it's pretty easy to take on the enemies.

I dont want to be a backseat gamer but oh boy here i go! Youre keeping too much stuff gab! Its really easy to find some of these things later in the game when you need them. Do the community center, the museum, but sell everything else. I save 1-5 gold or iridium quality of each crop and each fish. And then i save materials you need like earth crystals. But sandstone/granite/extra scrolls/bones/minerals/silver quality fish/food can all be sold without guilt. Youll never be asked for it. (Unless you dont have the gold/iridium quality crops/fish for residents requests- then save silver) I can go in more detail if you need i know i made this confusing But youre saving way too much and its overwhelming you

Save your light blue chest. Sell almost everything except the more expensive minerals in the yellow/orange chest. Save like a few emeralds, a few rubies, a few amethyst, the earth crystals, the coal and sap and stuff, but prehistoric tool fragments and sandstone and stuff is garbage
