NEW VIDEO:
• A Gateway To Hell In K...
Hi guys!
I'm back with a storytime for you.
Today I am sitting down and talking with you about my experience, with mckamey manor, the best I remember. If things are out of order I apologize. The entire haunt was six hours and I remember most things as a flash of that moment. This is a really hard video to film because there is SO much to it. I did my best to break it down for y'all. I know my tour was not one of the worst tours at all(not even close).
My tour was only the start of his "new extreme haunt". I'm not here to take away from anyone else's story I am just trying to tell mine.
Thanks so much for watching!! Don't forget to like this video and subscribe to my channel for more spooky content!! (:
(got a video idea?? let me know in the comments below)

Not one point in this video did I think, "oh this girl needs help." Don't understand why people are saying that. I see you explaining exactly what you experienced and what you have moved passed confidently and informatively. It's strange that even presenting this in the way you did, people are always so quick to judge, omg she needs help. I have severe PTSD. I’ve had a major disassociation that has given me amnesia of 6hrs of the event. My dr said I can work with someone and recover some, if not all, of the memories. But, it might be a good thing to just leave it alone because the brain doesn’t give you ptsd amnesia like that for any reason other than to protect you. I’ve chosen to leave it alone.

Anyone noticing the fact that she never calls their actions torture and refers to them a simply “weird stuff” and how she remembers things in flashes only. That sign of trauma and possible PTSD about the situation.
@MommaGuarisco
@MommaGuarisco Жыл бұрын
When she said "flashes" that's what I thought immediately was = Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Because me I have it from my own life experiences and that's how it happens is in flashes of traumatized memories, it's quick. Also victims are likely to down play the events for the reason of minimizing it to allow their minds to stay in a "safe place" to be able to stay sane.... That's what I do at least.
@kristinsevin
@kristinsevin Жыл бұрын
Yeah, she says a lot of her memory isn't all that clear either. That's another major sign. The brain tends to block out things like this to help us cope or protect ourselves. She can probably remember how she felt, but can't access much of the actual memory. Which is why those who suffer from ptsd report the flashes of memory.

Ok this makes sense now, Carole was his ex partner and when she was around it was an extreme haunted house but still a overall fun experience and still JUST a haunted house. When Carole became his ex must've been when he started spiraling into this torture dungeon type of guy. It's all about control and making the people in the torture betray each other just like he must've felt his wife betrayed him. He felt no control in his life so he needed ultimate control to feel better about himself. Why tf couldn't he have a normal mid life crisis and buy a motorcycle or get a tattoo or dye his hair.

That's what seems to be so complicated for people to understand and I don't get it. He thoroughly screens the people he's going to let in on the tours, according to himself he has lengthy conversations with them, their acquaintances; he tries to figure out what breaks them and whatnot. He goes overload on reverse psychology, he's a master manipulator, is pretty good at making people feel safe (ironically) and he fully *lies* all the time. So of course most people aren't actually equipped to undergo even 3h of this bullshit or don't know exactly the extent of what they're getting into. Even recently he still acted like it was all pretend and played the old "if it was as bad as people say I'd be in jail" angle even though the videos made public are heavily edited and people are publicly shamed into silence. Sorry, I know I'm preaching to the choir but this whole thing has gotten me so heated since literally at least 2015. On top of that, if Russ thought someone was a mole or rat or trying to catch him, he would then make their tours personal. They are lucky they never killed or paralyzed anyone. I really think it was crossing a line when they cut your hair. Yes, I understand it's hair and it will grow back, but it's a form of degradation. As women, we are essentially taught that our hair is everything to us even though I understand that we shouldn't think like that, but when someone cuts your hair without your consent, it's meant to be degrading. They put you through 6 hours of torture. Yes, you signed papers, but you went into this thinking it would be like the previous haunts and it wasn't. He should have been more upfront and honest with you about what you should expect even if it made the haunt a little predictable. You are not a test subject. @E Fox its a shame nobody from say a mafia related family went in and did the tour, then if Russ tried bullying and threatening them into silence they wouldn't be frightened of him. It's very odd how nobody has sued using duress to void the waiver etc. Also he would always tell people they had only had done like five minutes or something when we had clearly watched them for miles longer and that's after he'll have cut loads of film out. Like Avery, he said two minutes to her but she was in the van for ages getting slapped about and smothered etc

The way Russ operated the whole thing reminds me a lot of a destructive cult. Russ being charismatic and manipulative knows exactly how to make a person feel special. That is most likely the reason why he created the facebook group. To a person that was accepted into the group it must have felt like being part of something great that not everyone had the chance of getting into. In your case he also convinced you that you got a once in a lifetime chance causing you to make rushed decisions. Some people end up in cults in less than 24h after getting in contact with it and it can take several years until they find the strength to leave. I don't blame you for not realizing what was going on sooner. Thank you for telling your story.

I think you need to understand a few things about what you went through. Adrenaline does crazy things to the body. After an incident of prolonged fear, you can feel extremely excited because the body is literally celebrating your survival. Then you calm down and it can be hard to know how you felt because all you can remember is that after math of excitement. It can take months to years for you to focus on the trauma because the brain tries to just block it out and focus on the good feelings you felt, being excitement. Now you're in a tough spot where you can barely remember the good feelings and the actual trauma is what lingers but the memories are fragments of emotions. It's all normal in fight or flight but other people can really undermine your experience. I'm so sorry you went through something horrible when you planned to have these feelings in a safe and controlled environment. Thank you for telling your story.

I would just like to disclose that Russ’s ex made ACCUSATIONS over a phone call or something like that about him having pedophile tendencies, that he imagined shooting her, and she found pictures of his children fully clothed, but in very strange positions. when they would go to walmart while she was shopping he would look at children/teenagers (every gender), and to say the least he is just a very dangerous man. these may be accusations but I really do believe that it’s the truth about him because his sons have not talked to him in over 10 years, and he gets off on torturing people and seeing them in pain and it’s horrifying he is allowed to be around children/teenagers and that he has gotten away with putting so many people through traumatic experiences like these.

I watched your other videos and I just feel so upset by this whole story, but I just want to hear more from you and other victims because it is somehow good to hear it from you now where you are okay (at least mostly). I couldn't imagine going through this. I mean, I'd never EVER EVER sign up for something even remotely scary bc that isn't my personality or interests, but I imagine no matter how much you do like thrills and being scared that this isn't the same thing. I hope you're okay and I hope you're able to get help for the trauma and lasting effects it has on you. I hate that you have to explain "i was young and dumb" over and over again. Of course you were! We all were and still are most days when someone manipulates us or even if we just don't see the big picture! It isn't fair for anyone to judge you. anyone would have done the same thing IF they were interested in that type of thing. Like I'd never do it bc I get scared in baby haunted houses, but if you're into something then it isn't a stretch that you'll seek it out and be easily manipulated when you don't know the whole story. Makes me sick though that this russ guy got off making torture porn. the calling you little test subjects and spitting in your mouth or putting their fingers in your mouth is almost like sexual fantasy stuff. It’s so strange, for some reason I feel like I can relate to this but I don’t know why. I’ve never gone through anything like that, but I guess it’s surprising how many people can’t seem to understand the feeling of going through something fucked up/traumatic that don’t realize until after the fact, even years later. It really is like a dream, part of it doesn’t feel real or like it’s any big deal since it was in the past, and at the same time it starts to hit you that what happened was really something unusual.

It is so horrible what happened to you. It sounds like it would be very hard to have gone through this without experiencing trauma in some form. I worked through my own PTSD, and I am currently also studying psychology focusing on trauma, mind/body therapy. I can empathize with the guilt you feel surrounding what you believe is your role in it. It took me longer to forgive myself than the person who caused it. I also felt guilty for feeling trauma as I thought people having it worse means that I cannot feel trauma. I have been reading an incredible book called The Body Keeps The Score: Brain, Mind, And Body In The Healing Of Trauma. It's very informational, explains how trauma affects your whole being, and how to treat your whole being to work through it. It's a fantastic read for anyone interested. I really hope the best for you in this life

You are so well spoken about something that would be really traumatizing for most people. I am a horror fanatic, ever since I was a kid. Everyone if my friends were watching Disney movies she I was watching all the old classic horror movies that my mom and dad liked as teenagers. My friends would have to call and ask their parents if they could watch a certain movie because my parents didn't want them to have nightmares..their parents always said "no" so we would watch them when my parents fell asleep, naturally. We would usually get a call from my friends parents because my friends would be too scared to sleep alone and they admitted to watching all these horror movies at my house.I like being scared and it takes alot for me to be really creeped out. I'm so glad I came across your channel! Thank you for making this video. I couldn't watch the previous one bc ur friend was so distracting. now I was able to focus on ur story and experience and I want to say I can relate to getting into experiences and relationships knowing full well what I was doing and after time passes I would HV regrets. I think many people if not every human being can say that. But to shame or berate u for making mistakes and admitting them is just sad. U seem very brave and humble and I can't imagine the torment ur emotional being has experienced knowing u willingly gave this man permission to abuse u without realizing that's what it was. As well as being an advocate for him for awhile. I feel ur strong to make urself and ur story known despite the people who try to place blame. I've been in several abusive relationships and stayed in them knowing what was happening. It makes it hard to speak up bc I know people say "well y didn't u leave? U must've liked it to keep putting up with it" while our experiences R very different I can see the same type of manipulation and in the long run people don't want to speak out in either case due to fear of being made to feel like we "should've known better" and feeling like that already wen in truth..we only put our trust in someone and it was used as a weapon to hold us and others in a position to keep quiet. Sry I know this is really long but I can't really summarize what I'm trying to relate. I hope u can understand tho. And I'm sry 4 disrespecting ur homegirl in regards to ur last video. I didn't say anything nasty but there were already enough comments posted saying wut I felt. I should've just let it be. Keep speaking out. Ur giving a voice and strength for alot of others.

thank you for posting this video, and sharing about your experience with mm more in a chronological manner. the previous video with your friend asking and reading the questions was much more difficult to follow. that being said, just want to commend you for taking a stand and speaking your truth, and being brave and having the courage it takes to share about your experience with all the manipulation, abuse, torture, and trauma you experienced at the hands of russ and his cult in the falsely labeled, "mm haunt". as someone that is a survivor of a cult, and also experienced alot of shaming, hate, negativity, and drama when I left and tried to share my story. it took a relationship with God, years of therapy acknowledging and dealing with the ptsd from the abuse and trauma I experienced, and the support of a few real true friends, to help me heal, recover, and continue with my life. life is not perfect, have good days and bad days, and have things that trigger flashbacks, but have more good days than bad, and my scars both physical and emotional are no longer signs of abuse and trauma, but badges of honor that I'm a survivor, and not a victim. as you are a survivor. sorry get wordy and ramble on sometimes. your sharing your story, affirms and reminds me of how far I've come, and what I've survived, that I tend to forget sometimes, when feel all alone and having one of my bad days. thank you again for sharing, and may God bless you. there is a quote I like, written by someone anonymous, "better to light a candle, than to curse the darkness".

I think the problem with most of the people who are judging you harshly is that they simply haven't grown up yet. They have no life experience or they have not been in a abusive relationship. Because if you have been manipulated and traumatized then you know that shock is the first stage and if you're being manipulated that stage can last years even.

Did you ever cross your mind that Heather may have been on it? Because they only chose to torture you

Him having conversations in between is definitely planned and apart of the torture. He’s not just physically putting you through torture and trying to break you but mentally putting you through it and breaking you down slowly that way . To be nice and genuine then sadistic and cruel, opposites that cannot go together yet in most cases of abuse they do. It leaves you saying how and why … And I’m so sorry this is what you had to endure
