Bless these guys. Watched the whole thing, and I have never felt so equally endeared with the actors as well as their characters as much as I do with these guys. I haven't even felt as close to any friend in my actual life as much as I have felt with Chandler, Ross, Joey, Phoebe, Monica and Rachel. No, this interview was filmed in November 1996 and televised in the UK two weeks later. At this time the US was seeing season 3 and the UK were seeing season 2. The episodes about Ross and Emily's wedding (where Monica and Chandler got together during the group's trip to London) were at the end of season 4, which wasn't filmed until a year later than this show.

There's no way the guys could've just taken a day or two out of their lives to easily hop on a plane to come over to do this one-off interview.

That's me in the clip, asking Matthew Perry about his relationship with Julia Roberts the year before - which was the Superbowl episode in 1995 (in the US) which aired in the UK in 1996. This show was filmed in November 1996. The wedding of Ross and Emily was filmed in London about a year and a half later in 1998, and aired in the US on May 7 1998, and in the UK the following year.

I'm proud of that one bcz the writing was phenomenally extrodinary, the acting beyond that AND groundbreaking! I'd challenge ANYONE 2 that game! Biggest fan & supporter of W&G! Sorry, I lost myself for a skinny minute. 😂 this is a F•R•I•E•N•D•S discussion and it deserves all my attention. Bottom line...The interview was fantastic, the guys are all humble and it's an added bonus to us, their fans, to know they have a true "F•R•I•E•N•D"SHIP outside of the show. That's truly remarkable!!! I love each and every one of them as actors & how they portray themselves to us. I don't know them personally but they seem like lovey, fallible, humble, greatful for their extrodinary gifts, kind, warm & loving individuals. (*NOTE: as unrivaled as the cast is/was, I'd be embarrassingly remiss if I didn't clearly SHOUT that without the preeminent writers this would have been a different show entirely! The combination of 6 virtually unknowns coming together with THAT MUCH chemistry & talent, each actor being equally crucial & indispensable, that writing hit it out of the park giving our actors w/ their raw talent an all too certian WIN! So hats off to the TRULY awe inspiring talents of the writers!!) We ourselves were blessed to have them in our living rooms for 10 years along with the subsequent movies & shows they've brought us individually. Matt LeBlanc lovers need to watch the show EPISODES!! He's TREMENDOUS in it!! (Watched all 5 season 3x so far, AMAZING character actors in it as well!! You can't NOT love it) Courtney Cox is EXCEPTIONAL in DIRT, COUGAR TOWN & all other shows and movies she's done since!! Matthew Perry is FANTASTIC , AWESOMELY ADORABLE, HOT🔥& FUNNY in FOOLS RUSH IN (I own it & watched AT LEAST 10x over the yrs) & INCREDIBLE in everything else he's done since!! Lisa Kudrow brings such AUTHENTICITY & NAILS IT it in ALL she's done since!! David Schwimmer is ENDEARING in all he's done. Even as the "East Side Crumudgeon" & Grace's love interest in the NEW Will & Grace! Loved seeing that side of him!! Last but ABSOLUTELY not least...Jennifer Aniston. She's just a "ROCK STAR"🌟 in everything she touches!! (Also very AUTHENTIC ) Thank you F•R•I•E•N•D•S for 10 phenomenal, hysterical, touching & heartwarming seasons AND and for what you've continued to give us since. The writers & YOUR abilities on screen taught us how vital & fullfilling unconditional friendships can be as well as driving home for us the plethora of amazing rewards gained from CHOOSING your family if you get lucky enough to do so AND choose right. Many of us aren't blessed with a loving or unconditional blood family so your dynamic made people in that boat hopeful and eager to emmulate your very powerful dynamic & loving connection!! I think that's a key component in the strong interest and fascination with your off screen bond. Hope is a uniquely powerful thing and the 6 of you effortlessly gave that very hope to so many every single week for 10 years!! From every fiber of my being, I thank you ALL for that and so much more!!!!! It will continue for generations. I've already seen 2 generations discover you. michaelleacy Actually the hand where Rachel has four 6's was earlier in the game. It was the first time Rachel had won a hand and she was rubbing it in Ross' face. The hand David was talking about is the last hand of the game where he let her win because she had just lost out on a job and he felt bad for her. She had a full house then.

I think David was talking about the game where Rachel had 4 sixes, because in that game Ross showed his hand first and had a Flush, then Rachel won because she had a four of a kind. I think the answer should have been "a flush". The guy in the audience is assuming he is talking about the last game, where Rachel had a Full House. If Ross let her win there, he could have had three different hands: four of a kind, a straight flush, or a royal flush. I don't think David was initially asking that, because the answer could have been three different hands and the viewer had to assume Ross let Rachel win because she had just lost her job. Once the guy in the audience said "Rachel had a full house", I think David just didn't want to say he had it wrong, so he just went with it. Either way, it was a confusing question on David's part. He should have specified whether he was asking about the last game or the game where Ross actually shows his hand.
