Love your coffee mornings Gaby. Love that you’re real and say it as it is. Reference the reading books, I used to read alot as a child and when I had young children I couldn’t concentrate on a book. Only recently have I started reading books again and am loving it, it’s a great destress from social media etc. 📖 It does take practice to concentrate on reading though.

I can fully relate to what you said re prescriptions, when my little girl was 18 days old she had an eye infection I went to ooh Dr on a sat afternoon he couldn't Swab it so sent me to hospital, they swabbed eventually, 5 hours later I got a prescription for the hospital pharmacy which had shut 30 mins prior so I asked for it to be redone for an out of hours one instead they said no so after all that I had to go back thr next morning and like you was waiting for it to open at 9am x

Feel for you Gaby. My husband was poorly over Christmas and I got poorly on Boxing Day. We have had Covid twice and this is worse than that. I was on antibiotics for a week and I have just been to the doctors again and now have an antibiotic ear spray for a ear infection. Hope you all feel better soon xx

The hospital should have sent you home with the prescription already filled for Casper, knowing that your pharmacy's not going to be opened until later in the morning.That's what our hospitals do here.They have their own pharmacy built into the hospital. They're open all night.

Gaby, you should call patient relations at that hospital and see what was going on and what should have been done. I think they didn't follow through proper protocol correctly.

Hi Gaby catch up on coffee morning I busy got Garry home from hospital he still got sesip gsving treatment antibiotics in the arm to kill sesip in his disc spine gwt better alm soon glad Casper gave a good 3 rd birthday got lots presents get all better soon takecare ❤❤

Why don't they take it in turn Asda and Boots to open overnight over the weekend. There is a rota in my area where chemists take in turn to open and you can find that info online.

Poor little casper get well soon! Theres nothing more scary for a parent than your child being ill. Lots of love and well wishes to you all. How crazy is it that pharmacy ssy go to a&e but aren't they supposed to be seeing people to take weight off NHS a&e not to mention how more ill the child could get,?Crazy. God help us! X

Hey Gaby! Just managed to catch up with Coffee Morning and I'm so sorry to hear you all ain't feeling too well, wishing you all speedy recoveries and thinking of you during this time. I'm so glad Casper still had a lovely birthday under the circumstances of Tim being unwell. Looking forward to the Quiz later on tonight and also the members only quiz in the near future although it's not necessarily needed as you do plenty for us already. I think it's great to talk openly without any stigma about mental health, but calling smidge 'bipolar' in the same video is something to think about. Using phrases like (just examples) 'they're bipolar' or 'so OCD' really minimises the experiences of those with the conditions and, while may seem small, language can be really important in these conversations so as not to trivialise some really serious conditions people live with
