One thing about Arlecchino I don't really see people talking about, is how she's really good at closing in some distance when enemies are far away. Use her CA or use her skill and she's right in front of the enemy again. Her playstyle just feels REALLY good.

It took me a while to get used to the fact that her rotations don't really depend on CD. I've found myself in situations where my supports buffs stop and I'm like "oh wait, I can just save this BOL". It's interesting, because with many other main DPS you're kind of tied to a specific window of time

Honestly the best thing about Arlecchino, that you don't realize on footage but affects a lot, is that her first NA dashes closer to enemies Also on of her NA's draws enemies closer So you reduce a lot of time and stamina on sprinting sinces she does it while attacking

So... why aren't people using Arlecchino's burst to heal and then reapply bond of life with skill which is refreshed by her burst. Not only does it heal her to full, it deals a ton of damage and the bond of life comes back almost as strong as it was before burst if not stronger.

C6 Kaeya is Arlecchino's best support because of his cryo-app. He has the fastest cryo-app in the game at c6 (once per sec since he gets an extra hit) which means you basically don't miss a single melt like you would using Rosaria or Ganyu. The only problem is you actually have to get a C6 Kaeya first.

I've actually revived an HP Beidou build for an Arlecchino overload team. Beidous damage docent really matter since Arlechino does so much damage on her own in this team. It's a lot of fun and it also means I can avoid playing vaporize which almost always wants Bennet and nothing you say will make me play him, I can't stand him.

I've been playing C1 Arlecchino with E6 Beidou, C1 Chevreuse and C0 Raiden. Nothing will make me use Benny either so Beidous shield is a good option instead to negate damage. Chevy will allow for overload buff and Raiden has amazing electro damage. That's usually how I run her.

The big difference is hutao can be healed and use her burst more freely because it doesn't end her rotation, she also has built in interrupt res. C0 hutao with no shielder xingqiu or healer on shimenawas sure, but hutao has always been relatively tanky due to building HP and utilizing defensive options like xingqiu and bennett really well. And now with furina she's got no issues at all paired with her + healer (jean or xianyun)

I have her at c0 and has her weapon and so far she's been really fun to use, yes she is a glass canon but you don't need to worry cause as long as you have her ult ready you can use it to do a quick reset on her combo. Another problem with her is that... If you missed her elemental skill, no bond of life and your ult is down... Your left with nothing but normal weak attacks... I've experienced this on abyss and it's a pain...

tbh, I don't even find her that fragile. She is reasonably tanky thanks to her RES passive and solid base HP and Def; from my experience, she is absolutely able to take a couple of hits. It's just that people aren't used to playing a character who won't be receiving continuous healing.

I do have him built as a shielder now, but very rarely use him.

Used Arlecchino in 1st half of current abyss with no shielder and had a great time. In overload team with Bennett, Fischl and Chevy with a little of ER she charges up her Q very fast. Used 1or 2 Q per room. Really fun and f2p team.

Hu tao is built vs an inbuilt arlecchino, making them at equal power. Arle outclassed hu tao big time once she's built. Perfect jumps and perfect cancels are NOT possible, especially on mobile. Low hp all the time means you need a shielder because it's a dmg loss otherwise. Can't use a healer or else it's a dmg loss. Arlecchino can run healers for their applications without loosing bol. Burst at any time and repapply bol a second later because burst resets it. C1 al is in the kit for more uptime no problem. Doesn't need some whack ass combo breaking just to be viable.

I have been testing Arlecchino for a while and I must say that I am amazed since the blackcliff polearm achieved similar damage to her signature (1k difference per auto attack). the crit damage compensates for the lower base atk and that's when the passive is down, albeit the signature is more consistent due to higher crit rate ! (she has 92-238 crit with her signa with 4 pcs glad )

For me, I don’t find the shield an issue. If my health happens to get less than 30 percent, i ult instantly, use my skill, then restart my rotation. It’s pretty difficult to die as her if u have decent ER and health awareness

I have been doing surprisingly well with Yae, Ei, and Diona for her team. Open with Ei's skill into Arlecchino's skill, then you have a good chance to set up Miko's turrets and Diona's shield before switching Arlecchino back in. Hold Diona burst in case Arlecchino gets uncomfortably low because Diona burst + swapping Ei on field can keep you in and doing decent damage until Arlecchino has her burst ready to self heal.

Arlecchino puts out amazing damage, but she is such a glass canon. Most of the time, it's fine. I don't like when they throw something like Triple-Kinky at you... that pretty much just shuts her down. Also, for that reason, there is just nobody who touches C1 Neuvillette. My god.... So much damage while not being interruptible and he's a veritable self-healing tank. I am really enjoying Arlechhino gameplay, but she's still #2 on my roster.

honestly, i use her with benny, kazuha and yae miko/furina. i use her skill and then I do miko/furina kazuha to apply element and then I go back to father. if I'm using furina, I will be more careful abt the enviourment and her hp bc I don't wanna kill her. if shes on low hp and I need her burst, imma just spam benny and kazuha and her burst is filled already, and then I just wait for the right moment to use it and boom, I survieved.

If you mean lyneys bow it's the equivalent to aqua simulacra if you run a 2nd of the same element with no need to be upclose to the enemy while carrying a crit stat. So tighnari, ganyu, and multiple bow users like them can actually utilize it.

Since getting Arleccino I've been looking out for audio cues more, for example in the Coppelia/Coppelius fights, and the triple Maagu Kenki. I've never had to run her with a shielder, but my build also has 150ER so I can pop a burst any time I need a quick heal. Running with Zhongli would be cool for lazier runs when you can't be bothered to dodge and can just facetank everything.

"Fake problems", Gacha gamer, there are real peoblems with this character. 1) No healing, no constellation fixes that 2) Her E misses sometimes, so you have to reset, 30 second CD on a character that can miss is... 3) all of her constellations increase her damage, which isn't even the main problem of her kit (she does enough damage at C0)

I don't have a Zhongli, I use Chiori for geo shields. Seems to work well enough to deflect the chip damage I take because I'm way too aggressive. I do try to dodge but I have the dps tunnel vision virus. I usually start Chiori, use her E twice to get the puppet and auto swap to Arle, put up the blood debts, swap to next characters to set up, and then swap back to Shielded Arle to claim the Due Debts and go ham. Swap back to Chiori to get her puppet and more shields out when I need to.

To be fair, most content creators use shields in comparisons and demos anyway as long as the team can afford the slot, just so they can actually show off the character not just their dodge animation. So while shields are more important on her, they aren't necessary since she can still full heal every 15-20s

As a Ganyu and Yoimiya enjoyer, Zhongli has pretty much always been the premier shield option since I got him in patch 1.1. Arlecchino is freakin beast.

We're past the banner now, so maybe no one can use this tidbit, but I have a C0 Arlechino and a R1 weapons. Despire the skin and damage boost, going for the weapon is a MUST because it keeps her ALIVE. Without the weapon, her blood pacts are only consumed into bonds of life when the mark died. When you charged attack with her weapon, it consumes her pacts to make a bond, which gives her Pyro infused attacks. The pyro infusion speeds up her burst regeneration, which heals her. I run her without any sheilding, and we're kicking ass.

I've been running her on a Burgeon team with C0/R1 Homa Arlecchino C2/R1 Yelan C6/R1 Furina C0/R1 Nahida She performs exceptionally well on that team, however not having shield or c1 makes her very prone to stagger during hyper-dps, which is why I'm trying very hard to get c1 Edit: I will point out, I strongly disagree with her c1 only moderately boosting her survivability. Being able to resist interruption, gives her more and easier opportunities to burst, and thus heal herself. You can't cast abilities while staggered, so being able to tank it and burst immediately when needed is a *significant* help.

Yes, her frontload dmg doesnt a sustain type, just like Alhaitham, her dmg also decrease every hit, but not like Alhaitham, her dmg decrease really crazy. Made her dps output not really that hard, shes just on par with another current OP dps'es. Her flat dmg buff taken from the BoL accumulated is really big than her own NA scaling.

Since I don't have zhongli, I use albedo instead for constant crystal shields. I run arle with benny, xiangling, and albedo and I don't have to worry much on the shield strength since it resets on every shard. My albedo also provides good damage with about 10k every tick, and 20k on crit. Problem is, you can't utilize this with other reactions as he sometimes steals aura. It's good on mono pyro though. Would be better with... ehem... chiori.

I think if we ever get a heavy hitting veto sub dps she is the best consistent pyro applicator ESPECIALLY if you pair her with Thoma. IMO she is a better driver and soloist than Hu Tao but Hu Tao is a more consistent vape and has better switch out due to the simpler kit. For whales Arleccino is better but outside of that C0 they go pretty equal with leanings towards different scenarios. Also I find Arleccino super fun due to her awesome animations and her dash has a surprisingly massive range. I like to play her Overload with my C2 Yae Miko. Only thing is it is awkward to choose between Chevy and Kaz for that team depending on enemies

I just want to make some points here, you can ignore them if you want, but they’re going to help you out. 1. C1 may increase her dmg by a vast majority, but you also need to take into account that the scythe design on other polearm can either look hideous or actually look really cool. You can’t just decide based on dmg (at least not everyone can). 2. Shimenawa is a very powerful upgrade to gladiator that provides 15% more NA dmg at the cost of some energy. Before you say anything like “she needs that energy to burst so she can heal”, do take note that her skill generates enough energy to restore that 15 energy with interest (I think it’s 18-20 energy, but I honestly don’t know how to figure that out, I just know that you get the energy back with some extra from the skill). This makes it a more viable option for those that don’t have a major hoard of glad pieces (because they’re not dragons and are using them in the strongbox for other artifacts, which should be how everyone is doing it). 3. Vape is her best team, although the others are very close behind. 4. While a shield may not be necessary, it’s still going to prove to be less stress inducing than not having one. If you can storm through even floor 12 with little to no dmg taken, then don’t worry about a shield. However for the vast majority of players who can’t do that, a shield will relieve some stress as it covers up any worries about Father dying mid fight. That being said, Layla and Noelle are your best options if you don’t have Zhongli (or don’t have him built). Layla’s uptime makes her the better option, however Noelle’s additional team-wide healing ability (to keep sub-dps’ and supports alive), stronger shield and bonus raw dps (if you give her SS (yes her shield is still stronger than Layla’s even without a def weapon) and have her C6) proves her worth as a powerful placeholder for Zhongli.

6:00 as an OG player I (or any other OG player) can say that this speech of "her signature weapon is too niche" is kinda bullshit, and it scares F2Ps a lot it seems... why it's BS? Because if you're getting a signature weapon, you'll be using the signature weapon with the character owner like 99% of the time. So it doesn't matter if it's too niche or not, it's the BIS of that character, period. You don't pull for signature weapons thinking "Oooh, maybe I can use this weapon on other character too..." no, you'll be using it on Arlecchino if you have her. This applies to any sig if you're trying to the get it for their owners, but if you're trying to get for other characters, then yeah, it's probably not the best, but that's a whole different situation and it's a exception, don't treat this as a rule. So if you like Arlecchino and want the best result with her, go for her weapon 100%, it doesn't matter if her sig won't work on other polearm users, you probably won't be using other polearm users if you have Arlecchino and her sig to use.

They're all C0? Yes (besides Hutao). I have Kokomi's useless donut? Yes. I have some useless Skyward weapons? Yes. I have 2 spare Lyney bows? Yes... But at least they got the drip, so Yelan with Aqua, Raiden with EL, Hutao with Homa, Alhaitham with Foliar, Eula with SOBP, Kazuha with FS, Furina with Splendor, now Arlecchino with CMS... (some don't have their sig, but they at least have a broken 5 star like Navia with Beacon Of The Reed Sea and Ganyu with FGM)... which to me is more important than cons, because the game literally has no content hard enough that makes sense wasting 2 5 star pity into a constellation. So it depends where are your priorities.

a big thing that i THOUGHT you were going to cover with her weapon was the first part of the passive. you gain 25% bond of life on charge attack once every 14 seconds. it doesnt SOUND important, and in most gameplay if you HAVE it you might not notice what it does, but effectively it does change how many hits you get pyro for on your normal attacks against a single target boss, like on bosses in abyss. it might not make a huge difference but its something to note that you dont get your skill cooldown back using all your normal attacks without your weapon, but with the weapon you DO. as well as increased multipliers on your hits obv and the damage stacking faster than jade winged spear. you get more bond of life to play with so you dont have that awkward phase of "my e isnt up, but i have no pyro attacks left so its weird to switch rn..". thats basically all im trying to say! more immediate damage from bigger bond of life, and better consistency in your rotations without awkward switching to wait for her e to come back. and, regardless, her weapon IS a damage buff from other options. so while not needed, the gameplay does appreciate having it, and you will probably notice and appreciate the difference. TL:DR her weapon gives her more immediate and more consistent damage since it gets her to her e cooldown again. this makes her cycles always end with her e and then supports as well as giving her a decent damage boost. im not gonna calculate it but those things should put it in definite contention over going for c1. also- it looks fkn cool and thats even more reason to pull for it :)
