@@viedralavinova8266 Probably this. Back then, we didn't get electro unit until Inazuma, and MHY was actually working hard on them. Heck, they even went as far as counting Dendro in mind. This is why I never see Kuki/Yae get buffed by Dendro, but they got balanced first because of Dendro. What I'm really worried the most is they seem threw geo gimmick altogether and just make character focused instead. For example, Gorou, Yunjin, and Husk of Opulent Dreams buff characters more instead of geo itself, if that makes any sense.

Sometimes when I really want to use a non meta or underleveled character I use them with raiden, albedo and zhongli. They do all the work while the random unit I choose normal attacks This is also unironically a really good team for Eula

I think the issue is that Hoyo actively refuses to buff characters outside of things they can monetize like artifacts, weapons and new units. There's no reason they couldn't give buffs to underpowered characters to keep up but they're more focused to making money than improving the game

Imo Klee is actually quite good as Burgeon driver, maybe even the best. Unlike Thoma, Klee is an on-field driver so she can take advantage of Nahida's EM buff and her burst is not necessary so no problem with ER like thoma. And no need for any fancy animation cancel. Last abyss Zhongli, Klee, Xingqiu, Nahida was my meta comp for second half.

I love Klee but wouldn't Yanfei work better in that role with her shield and lack of attack required with EM build. I believe mono pyro is best suited for Klee and it might seem irrelevant but mono teams are legitimate although have niche uses.

I have units that I only use in abyss and characters I only use for everything else. I use Klee and Eula all the time, just not in abyss. I don't consider them bad rolls at all. They have jobs and they do them well. Yoimiya and Yunjin are often in my domain parties. I am still aggravated that Hoyo never did anything with Aloy. I built her to 90 only basically abandon her. Sad. I really liked her too.

@@KarelTheKaiser That is often my go to abyss clearing team ever since I got Ayato, it never failed me. Sometimes i switch Bennett for Zhongli if I have a second team that wants Bennett more (like International). But even with Zhongli the team still slaps due to his resistance shred, tenacity set and geo resonance buff. Other then that team I use Ayato as an on field driver for hyperbloom and burgeon but hypercarry Ayato is definitely my fav.

I'm surprised Xinyan isn't here, because after reading her kit. You can tell she provide enough to become a powerful unit. I mainly use Xinyan with Kazuha because every time I group enemies at once, just press Xinyan's E and Burst to execute them all. Also build Xinyan as Physical Sub DPS aka for mainly burst.

For Kaveh, one thing people should do if they wanted to use him, and that is Use Sacrificial Greatsword.. Reason being, Kaveh can pop the bloom 3x in a row.. simultaneously if the enemies are a lot and grouped up..

Kaveh has been surprisingly one of the most fun characters I picked up recently. I have him c0 and I played him this abyss in a bloom team without nilou ofc, because if I do that's just a Nilou team, right? (XQ, Barbara, Nahida) and I was honestly shocked at this team performance. Without fully optimize builds I was able to comfortably clear Abyss 12 first side in less than 80s in each floors. Also none of my characters were lv90 so I was missing out on a lot of core damage.

The set in the video is just me putting off pieces together. The crit ratio is not important, except for Nahida if you want. The team really only needs high em and decent er.

Ningguand was my first gacha character and she was carrying me in early game. But... Ningguang's NA suck, her Ultimate (without C6 is ok) always has a few jades that say "fuck you" and fly all over the place instead of targeting the enemies, and her CA takes a long time to charge for good damage but go _"Bye, have a great time 😃"_ if enemy decides to teleport away like Abyss Mages or the wolves. The only thing that I consider actually great about her kit is the E - Skill. Great damage, blocks projectiles, generates 4 energy blobs and can turn into more jades for the Ultimate.

Dori is good for your low ER Raiden. (ER about below 230% ) Dori is also good for support in CoOp team. Because dori increase uptime of burst in your CoOp teams, also heals you ofc, and Dori's tether cause many reaction of hyperbloom, or overload, or or electro charge to enemies in domain. (Not often overload your own character because rarely domain enemy shots pyro.)

I love Yunjin and I use her a lot in overworld with either Ayato or Wanderer. But I rarely use her on abyss except when there's golden wolflord. She buffs really well, but because she is Geo, I prefer to give her slot to other supports from another element.

Honestly as an Alhaitham AND Kaveh main (full crit/em/attack build with gilded on both, and alhaitham has his weapon and kaveh has dehyas), I wish more people would give kaveh a try as hes so fun and with investment can be so strong as a driver in quickbloom, and seeing him do regular 30-40k skill hits (crowned) is so satisfying. Been an Alhaitham main since months before his release, saving and farming artifacts for him since he showed up in the story. Running him as a full aggravate carry, with Kaveh as a quickbloom driver on the other side of the abyss is so fun, and I only have both at C0 and C2 respectively so he isnt really that reliant on constellations which is nice. I’ll be a Kaveh defender forever, and hope more people give him a chance :)

They could honestly fix geo/anemo/mono focused teams with a resonance buff for teams with more than 3 of same element, not necessarily to powercreep teams focusing on reactions but just to buff them enough to be able to compete at the same level. Meta in genshin has gotten so stale that its boring now, because its hard to not use any national, freeze or dendro team to clear abyss without struggling to clear on time and all the 4-star released so far since inazuma, majority of them are either super niched, constellation locked or not useable at all.

i still use klee and chongyun for abyss until now, not for my main team but just for fun. after abyss reset, i will do one run first for clearing it with my meta team. then i do another run for fun. i just want to know if they can finish the newest abyss or not. chongyun still with his usual line up (national team). for klee, i put nahida and hydro in there to make a burgeon team.

Personally Klee would be great if her burst stayed active when she isn't in the field. Her elemental skill is amazing, and if she was built around using her elemental skill and burst specifically as a drop in and out character, I think Klee would be an amazing member of the team. Definitely for how much pyro she applies constantly, if she was able to do that when off the field.. ya. Issue is her burst doesn't last off the field. lol It's such a simple change as well in my opinion. They would only have to change that and the constellation that makes an explosion when she leaves the field when her burst is active... heck they could even keep that constellation as kind of a bonus, with her burst not ending but Klee exploding when leaving the field when burst is active.

I also want to add some more information regarding my boy Chongyun: in CBT-2 he was just as strong as other 4☆ god like Xiangling and Bennett, so strong that he got nerfed the most. His kit was meant to be a strong nuking unit, so his NA and C1 kinda useless (except the aesthetic). This also meant that he wanted to pair with either a consistent pyro applier (Xiangling) or an Anemo with Pyro Swirl (Kazuha, Venti, Sucrose...) due to his damage window is of a fraction of a second (totally exaggerated) which allow to benefit the double swirl technque. He is also a unit with low base attack, so Bennett become his best partner. Tbf, if he wasnt changed since CBT, he would be somewhere in A tier just from the C2 only.

The thing about Klee is that she is NOT meant for reaction teams, her C6 even buffs pyro dmg for your team, she was most likely meant to be a sub DPS to another pyro unit, hence why here strongest team is monopyro, since it has no reactions it has no problems with ICD, and it makes it so Klee and her teammates complement each other perfectly. Also, Klee is also NOT meant to only do charge attacks, since her passive creates a spark that buffs her charge and makes it use no stamina. It is usually recommended to use them after at least 2 basic attacks in between charge attacks to save stamina, besides, she does a lot of damage with both her elemental and burst, her damage is actually pretty evenly spread across all of them. Also, in case anyone actually cares, since she plays no reactions, her best kit it 2p atk 2p pyro followed by 4p lavawalker.

He was the first two characters I got off the standard banner, and was a staple in my teams prior to netting any five-stars, but in the year since, I have netted _zero_ more of him, meaning he's been trapped at C1 this entire time. Even the similarly standard-banner-bound _Diluc_ finally got his C2, _how?_ Lemme have claymore shenanigans, Hoyoverse!

These statistics come from players who got ALL 36 STARS in Abyss. There's a reason why Nahida, Kazuha, and Yelan are at the top. And there's a reason why characters like Aloy or Heizou are dead last. Unless you want to use characters that you like or clear all 36 stars ASAP, then you should build and use meta team comps (cough Hyperbloom).

@@purp1e200 I think because most players who have Kazuha would prefer bringing him over Sucrose for the Abyss. And from my basic guess, the second team nowadays would be Dendro variant (especially Hyperbloom) that rarely utilizes Sucrose (although technically she can). Before Dendro, Sucrose taser/national was more commonly used, but now things have changed. Sucrose is definitely a good character, but the top teams just usually don't include her. Most of the times, at least for me, if i only need one anemo unit i would almost always prefer Kazuha due to his more reliable crowd-control. By the way, the Akasha Data usage rate for Sucrose in the current Abyss is now 0.9% 💀

I hope they release sets or characters that buff the two neglected reactions: shatter and crystalize. Chongyun is great at freezing enemies, but then he shatters them so he's no good for permafreeze, but if he gets a buff to this reaction he'll be awesome! And geo characters have exclusivity over Crystalize, but this reaction is kind of pointless. If they add a set or a weapon that buffs the team based on the elements that get crystallized, then geo characters could have more presence outside monogeo teams, especially Ningguang and Albedo, with all their geo dmg output.

I've been using Yun Jin for a long time. She's one of my longtime faves. I still use her often when dealing with really tough enemies both in Abyss and during exploration. Her shield and atk buff has helped a lot. As for Klee, I can see why I often hear about her being klunky but it just takes some getting used to (personally it took me a while since I used to use Yanfei as my main pyro catalyst user...) I often use Klee for burgeon and burning teams.

Klee Burgeon is really fun imo. Go full EM, you dont have to get her abilities over lvl 6 (hell, you can even not lvl her burst at all bcs it's kinda useless for Burgeon since it'll increase her pyro application, which isnt ideal), you dont have to CA bcs you shouldnt, you can just not go ahead and do her animation cancels, and youre good to go (Her NAs are bombs so they have a better chance at hitting cores for Burgeon unlike, say, Yanfei NAs)

i personally love using klee and chongyun, they're 2 of my fav mains and overall characters, so i'm kinda sad they don't get the recognition they deserve, bcs they can output quite some dmg, and personally i find klee a lot less clunky than hu tao, that's why hu tao now is lvl 81 and unbuilt, homa is on anyone but her, and since i find overrated characters rlly boring, i like using underrated characters as my main dps, for example klee, chongyun, dps baizhu or even on field main dps yae(who mostly is played off field)

I used to really try to use all my roster of character in the abyss, but I cant even bother nowadays, some units are just more efficient at dealing with bullshit in the abyss than others. That means, teams that require minimum execution with alot of damage, some of the teams are, Nilou bloom team, Kuki hyperbloom team, all Raiden teams, Ayaka freeze, Yae aggravate, more efficient because these teams have core units like Kokomi, Yelan, Kazuha, and Nahida, if u are new player, focus on getting these units, they are huge pillar around your DPS of choice.

I started to played in middle of Venti banner and beginning of Klee's banner. Back them I have no idea what is gacha, pulls, 50/50 after days of just exploring, I tried my luck and got Klee, my very first limited banners character. She is adorable. No regrets at all. Just feel shame that her burst is not off field

As s controller user, I picked Yun Jin for my Machinegun Gorou team. Her buff is too fast to be used up in less than 6 seconds due to the rapid fire before the duration ends. The damage boost is around 3 times of his damage without any buffs and Superconduct triggered. I can deal around 15k per shot when crit. I started to realized this in co-op as my Gorou is the first who have Yun Jin's buff disappeared earlier while the rest of the teammate still had it.

I think the thing with a lot of new players is that we mostly follow guides when we build characters. Since the resources are time gated behind the resin system, we have to prioritize which characters to build first. I have Kevah and Yunjin, but do I really want to spend the resources to build them when I can build my Xingqiu or Kuki? I suspect that these characters aren't being used because they are not being built. Ideally even if I can just get all my characters to lvl 80 and 6/6/6 talent, I'd love to explore different combinations, but that seems impossible unless you play every day for 2+ years or whale, or both.

I use a lot Yunjin with Ayato and Yoimya, and more often since i got her C6 ! Chongyun is my first C6 4* and got him c6 in the first banner i pulled (Xiao), i enjoyed playing with him in my early game, but after i did not found him powerful enough to lvl him up/ build him in priority. But after all this time i want to build him because he really looks fun to use ^^ (i promise to myself to do it before fontaine end) Klee are a gem, she always make me happy to use and i often use her with Xinqiu and Yelan, all the numbers just make her look nuclear ! So satisfying !

I am surprised that Kaveh is in this list. Kaveh actually helped me 36 stars the spiral abyss since his release. I am pairing him with Nilou, Xingqiu, and Baizhu, and he is unkillable. I love Kaveh, send more love to Kaveh. ❤️

I'm so sorry but he actually did not in fact carry you. Let's be real here, if you take out both Nilou and Baizhu he won't really carry you. It's just a facade you think since he's your main driver but it comes mostly from Nilou's buff on dendro cores without her, his damage won't really be that great. Plus, the unkillable part comes from Baizhu, remove him and you'll feel a more pressure on his survivability. You can even use Baizhu as the driver and you'll get practically the same result. Moreover, even Barbara is a great driver since she does not really need her burst just for infusion. Your team probably still do the same even without Kaveh, that's a fact, try doing that. At the core of your statement is Nilou for the insane damage and Baizhu for the survivability. Sure kaveh does his little gimmick but he's more of an accessory not the core of your team that makes you think he's THAT great. So, if still think that way, I dare you to remove BOTH Nilou and Baizhu from your team and leave only Kaveh, then return here and tell me that You can 36 stars the abyss and is unkillable. Thank you. I don't mean to offend but let's not get delusional here. I would have believed you if you can do that without those 2 core characters.

@@restart6358 what? Nilou can function well even without these characters. What makes bloom teams META is because of NILOU. She’s a specialists in pure bloom damage. Without her, dendro core explosions are not that great even with nahida. You’d rather use hyperblooms instead. What made Kaveh especially strong from the OG is because of Nilou. What made him practically unkillable is because of Baizhu not everything is solely of Kaveh’s kit. Nilou bloom teams can function well enough without Kaveh. Which is why the statement of OG is contradictory because Kaveh is replaceable and carried by the 2 other characters.

She’s the CORE of the team meaning she’s the one carrying the team. Without her passive the dendro cores are really not that strong. Go back and read why I just said. Yun Jin is really good because she is a good buffer. Her problem is like many 4 stars, her potential is locked behind constelations. Sure, she's usable, but there are better options that can be used without many constelations, such as Kazuha c0, Bennett c1, Mona c0, Shenhe c0, etc. You don't need that much NA buff, when you can have superior value from other type of dmg buffs. Kaveh's kit is rounded around bloom, and bloom is only viable with Nilou's bountiful cores. Why? Hyperbloom>Bloom. Not only this, but Kaveh's C6 is really important for application if you don't have Traveler or Nahida, he has horrible application without it. Chongyun, is only really good with maybe Ayaka for cryo buff, but just... just get Rosaria/Bennett/Shenhe/Kazuha... Even Yunjin is better. He's not even good in national and international, because Rosaria stole his spot. I might make a hot take here... but Klee's main downfall is her catalyst use. They made a catalyst that plays like a Claymore, except, without the good things about claymore: higher damage and slightly better range with good control. If her catalyst was not based on a claymore by being faster, but maintaining better range + control, she would unironically have been great. Her kit doesn't sound bad, it's just that she plays like Ningguang, and by that I mean she plays like dogshit. Ningguang, well, she's also not bad, but... Just play Heizou, he's a 4 star and he's actually viable, something that Ningguang is not. (because of many other superior 4 star chars) Heizou unironically stomped even the worst abyss in the game from 3.6-3.7 abyss. Heizou can also use Xingqiu and Xiangling, something Ningguang cannot. The only reason you'd want to play Ningguang is if you like her, and tbh, TOTALLY BASED REASONING! *Conclusion:* Play the characters you want. Ignore the META. If you can 36 star abyss with them, why should you even care?

Yunjin's problem is also pretty much nonexistent synergy outside of NA damage dealers. I don't have Ayato, Eula or Yoimiya (the only character I'm sad about not having) on my account and C6 Yunjin's basically redundant for me. she could work with my Wanderer but again, Bennett and Faruzan are more useful for me And even when I tried to implement her with my phys Kaeya as an experiment, setting her up was a hassle. Either superconduct ran out becore her buff was ready, or something else

Honestly for Klee the problem is that she's also VERY clunky to use. There are other characters that are not meta right now but are still used like Wanderer, Eula and many others. Klee feels like a piece of wood who also requires High Skill ceiling and ping to deal... Decent DMG? It's no surprise that people don't like playing her.

Klee just uses N1C or N2C combo like hu tao. Just have some extra techs like kazuha vacuum making her jumpty dumpty stay in there instead of going forward, her burst animation cancels her jumpty dumpty skill when the bomb appears, press any direction movement key to reduce her burst animation by 0.5s and kazuha obviously grouping her mines after her on field time. The even more obvious ones are the the mines exploding when another skill is used so dmg is frontloaded and she has 2 charges on her skill so it can solve the pyro energy problems in mono pyro in the beginning of next chamber so have consistency. I dont think this is much different from hu tao N2C combo, buff extension with her burst at the end and the even more complicated pyro VV vape setups. Klee is an on-fielder pyro dps battery for mono pyro teams. Since it doesnt have much reactions, klee mono pyro team feels more simpler than the usual reaction teams. The reason klee is not in vape teams because only 1/3 of her hits vape while regular buffs affect everything so its better that way along with being a pyro battery.

The adventage of yunjin is she increasing normal dmg regardless the scaling. Where Bennett must be atk scaling. That's obvious. For klee, she's pyro unit that tune in mono pyro not vape or melt. She will really shines if the game release her true artifact, pyro nymph. As for now, her band aid artifact is lavawalker or 2p2p pyro dmg and atk. While her band aid weapon is lost prayer.

Before Dendro, I used to put Yun Jin on my Keqing team, since I prefer to use NA combos with her instead of the CA spam, now she's rusting in my roster. I remember pulling Klee because I had no Pyro main DPS, and got Diluc 10 wishes after her, so I never got used to her. Klee's Q needs to work off-field, and I don't get why HyV refuses to buff her or any character besides Zhongli. It's a tiny change what would make her work way better, as with her E, she would become a good off-field Pyro sub-DPS. Because she lacks that, she is worse than Yanfei, whom has long range and a shield at C4. Chongyun is weird because Cryo infusion ain't that useful, or infusions in general. There was one time which I tried using Keqing spuerconduct her own attacks with Cryo infusion and Electro, or Diluc melt his own Pyro attacks alternating between NAs and Es, but without artifacts benefiting this sort of playstyle, I'd rather play Keqing Aggravate instead and use Crimsom witch on Diluc. AS for Ning, I use Prototype Amber on her and turned her into a Healer. and tried leaving an archaic petra with her, but she is just sub-par. HyV needs to make Crystallize an useful reaction ASAP. I hope Navia plays along these, maybe being a "Geo Nilou" Main DPS, grating different effects or buffs based on which type of Crystallize shield while having poor, Yun Jin levels of geo application herself, instead of an Itto Clone or a character whose Geo element doesn't matter at all to her kit. Then having Ning creating Crystals everywhere with archaic petra bonus, while Navia uses some Cryztallize buff shenanigans for her, would be cool.

While Kaveh isn't much enjoyable due to his patterned playstyle. But yeah, I'm talking about world exploration. Since it seems like devs smoke something while lining up Abyss monsters lately, I, for one, can't 'enjoy' using these 4-star characters anymore. 😥

because of the instance limit with dendro cores, having kaveh trigger them sometimes lets a over abudence of cores in aoe not just go to waste. i got klee when trying to pull for noelle cons, this got super weird since i got 3 klees in 30 pulls and now have C2 tryin to pull for 4 star cons. as to when i actually use her, when ever i need a priority cryo shield break, holy hell does her E with a good group mechanic destroy shields, most recent abyss that i remember specificly using this was awhile ago with the dual cryo gunner with a hydro mirror mage maiden with a skill CD aura.

klee was an option in the early days for those who couldn't get diluc and chose to get a pyro through a character banner vs standard. but yeah i dropped her once hu tao came. the other issue was they had some characters that were designed for multi constellations. klee and xiao fell in that.

How hard is it to put Bennett's Q before using Kazuha's burst to trigger revmelt? Just use a good rotation for Chongyun and I promise melting all 4 hits wouldn't be hard. His playstyle is to be revmelt nuke dps and he can do some real insane damage. He is already great and I highly doubt shatter buff will outdamage revmelt.

I really would like her bust to become off field too, but anyway she really work well as a Pyro Driver, similar to Childe, I use her to make Rosaria melts harder with shenhe, or just as a Pyro enabler with Xingqiu and Fischl, a specie of "National"

I always use Klee in my Abyss. She may lack on range but Overload or Burgeon turns the area into a minefield. The aoe of her skill is enough for me to erase even a hydro abyss mage's shield.

It may sound unfair for those popular or broken char, but most unpopular char have to use the same ICD with others despite of their own clunky gameplay or kit mechanic. Genshin may have really variety in style, theme,...but their character balance philosophy are not. They not dare to touch their precious ICD value.

I totally agree. Liyue characters barely have ICD problems like Hu Tao, Childe, Ganyu, XQ, XL, Yelan can do reactions with almost every hit. Then comes Inazuma where everyone has standard ICD. Ayato, Yoimiya, THOMA, Yae Miko, even Raiden don't do much reactions compared to Liyue characters. And this game is Reaction-centric. Hence, why most METAs are from Liyue because of their insane ICDs. Nahida ,Alhaitham, Blooms (Nilou) have weird ICDS which makes them do insane reactions which is why they are strong. At the end of the day, it really is not all about the kit or clunkiness, it's about the ICD. This is why Yoimiya can't beat Hu Tao because she vapes every hit. Yoimiya needs strict combo to vape on the right hits. Ayato has terrible ICD too. He can't vape often, plus his burst has standard ICD to0 which can't replace the Liyue Hydro META which is so unfair. Aside from this, Fischl can often compete to a 5 star (Yae Miko) because Yae Miko can't aggrevate all hits outside her burst. Kokomi has terrible ICD in BETA, She applies hydro every other hit compared to what she is today. If they haven't fixed her ICD, I doubt she could even be META these days even with Freeze and Dendro teams if she still has her old ICDs.
