I like this vid actually, although 18 minutes mark did made me hesitate to watch. A bit too long for something as casual as this imo. 13:35 This is totally me as well. Now I mainly use Ganyu only a day each week for weekly bosses. I literally just spam CA and don't have to see the screen while checking work on smartphone and even while playing another mobile game at the half other times. Sure, that also probably the reasoning her haters typically use, boring aim, yada-yada. But at least it has some real use and still powerful af.

Dehya is now one of my favorite characters now that I have her maxed at level 90. She completely obliterates anything especially when bad guys ate loaded up with Dendro first, she fights just like her personality, mature and not putting up with anyones childish sht, just awesome.

I regret not pulling on her rerun SO BAD. I pulled for Nilou instead because I already got tighnari and alhaitham consecutively during that time and I still haven't got a 5 star hydro so I thought why not pull for Nilou but nooo it's been months and I've NEVER used her at all if I ever need to use hydro I just pull barbara and she does the job. Now I have to suffer cause I know it will take a damn while before she gets a rerun 😢

I actually just used her for a couple of abyss runs as a support in an ayaka monocryo team. I don't like her play style but I like her character and her e and burst work well as a support. I was happy I got to use her again.

I think I've gotten extremely dependent on yelan. She is just amazing for the open world. Got her C1 too just for that. I can live without zhongli but I can't live without yelan.

I got her on the rerun while trying to get either her or Xingqiu to C6 (he's still C5). No regrets. But... My most reliable guy would still probably be Kazuha. I rarely even exchange him for Venti unless I'm playing Alhaitham and need CC (+ Venti has Elegy) and there are very few teams where I don't get him out into the world. I've had Kazuha since he was released and oh boy... still using him pretty much every day haha

@@Gamfluent my Yelan is in need of Favonius haha And I don't have enough EM on Kazuha to run him with Fav comfortably (I have Xiphos though, it's almost as good as Fav in terms of ER (but I have enough ER substats) and gives EM. But Kazuha is on my main abyss teams while Yelan... Mainly in overworld rn but maaaybe she'll be in more abysses hehe Just in case, I play Kazuha much more than Venti but in Alhaitham's teams (I mainly play him as a spread DPS and occasionally Hyperbloom) I go for Venti for CC

These 'regret summoning X character' videos are things that new players may not have problems with, especially when they plan who to pull in advance, because they have the advantage of informations on the already released & reviewed characters

I love ayato for the sameeee reason he is so perfect for open world trash mobs Alhaitham does way more dmg than I expected tbh and he is go to rn for more frontloaded dmg. Yelan I was only pulling for Xingqui constellations when I won my 50/50 and was in shock. I did want her but was saving for future characters but this woman was a blessing in disguise and one of the only characters I never take off my team now! Nahida is the other character who I always have on my team since I got her! Kokomi is who I go to as my tank and she was my first 5 star and carried me for so long. I don't wanna say regret but timing wise I do regret Cyno. I should've waited for a rerun rather than him being my 2nd limited character because i do like his playstyle but he just doesn't play smoothly unless you have the right team but that's a reason I want baizhu tbh.

Only character I regret pulling is Cyno. I tried really hard to like him after release because he seemed so fun and unique but his rotations are just stunted to me, even with Nahida. Only character I regret NOT pulling for is Nilou but that's about to change tonight. Bloom teams ended up being my go-to and she would be a great addition to any of them.

Ayato is definitely my most played character lol , it has been more than a year since he got released and he’s never been out of my teams for both spiral abyss/exploration it’s mostly due to how super versatile he is + super satisfying too

Its really crazy to me how I haven't got even close to being bored with him yet despite his gameplay seemingly being so simple. I think there's the satisfaction of his animations and effects plus just how great his teams feel to play. Ayato Soup just has so many shiny colors on the screen I never get tired of it

I've been using Tighnari and Wanderer the most! I love their playstyles, they're both so fun. I just pulled Nilou so I'm really diving into bloom teams, she'll probably become one of my most played. Very excited for Baizhu as well, Kokomi has been my go-to healer for too long, I'll get to shuffle some of my team comps around with him instead

For me, my most used ones are Hu Tao, Wanderer, Zhongli, Yelan and Nahida (Honorable mention: Kokomi. I pulled her for my hyperbloom team and it was really worth it, even though it's the least used of my regular teams). Also, I'm currently on a mission to rebuild my Keqing for aggravate, since I really like her and she was my main in the past (almost since launch), but I stopped using her a short while after pulling Hu Tao in 1.3. The one I regreted pulling the most was Raiden, at least until Dendro released, because I didn't really like her gameplay as much as I initially thought I would, but as a hyperbloom trigger she's really nice. The ones I still regret pulling are Eula, Yae, Shenhe (didn't improve my Ayaka team as much as I was hoping for) and Itto. Cyno is a weird one because I don't use him that much, but I also don't really regret pulling him, simply because I like him that much. As for those who I used a lot in the past but stopped (though I don't regret pulling them): Albedo, Xiao, Ganyu, Ayaka (used her for Wenut in Abyss again after a long break), Venti, Kazuha and Childe.

Honestly, I don't even regret lost 50/50s. It's how I even managed to get Qiqi after a long time of trying to do so on standard. And now I can get Tighnari and Dehya? It's a win-win in my book!

Using Kokomi ever since her first day of the first banner. Her teammates may have changed because of Hyperbloom but she is almost always there. And even though some characters I don't use too often, I don't regret getting anyone from them. If nothing else I'm regretting not being flexible enough to use different over world teams all the time to use every single character from time to time. Also my heart shattered as you said that you regret getting the donut of Kokomi. After 3.1 live stream that showed that there won't be Eula rerun, I went and pulled the donut. And I'm so happy that Kokomi was my first character to get her signature weapon and she is using it till this day.

As a Keqing main since day 1 (she was, literally, my first pull), I can tell you like Alhaitham so much because their playstyles are similar, while he has a lot of damage. I'm also in love with him. He actually got Cyno's place on hyperbloom. I consider Ganyu the best unit do to daily commission. Just smash whatever from afar.

I often pull for any new character even if they are off meta/mid. I always end up using the new characters for a week to a month/new releases (Including Dehya despite her underwhelming kit) since it’s always nice to unlock some kind of hidden potential

I have Dehya maxed now and she is one my best kick ass, clean the floor, put up with no sht hammers. She can completely wipe the floor if the boss is loaded up with Dendro first. She’s the big girl in the room everyone looks up to and fights like it too once you stay with her long enough to build her whole kit. It’s the reward at the end.

You can try hyperbloom eula: Eula, xinqiu/yelan, Nahida, Raiden/Kuki. Eula is useful because she gets defense boost with e and also resistance to interrumption. Also she does well damage with raiden and you can enjoy multiple reactions.

I got back to my first main character Albedo yesterday and building a geo team around him. I think, when you reach end game it’s so easy to play meta and know it’s all about new content and trying out new characters. I’m playing him with Gorou and Zhongli and the lasts spot is flex, Raiden/Childe/Ayato 😻🙏🏻

I still have a level 20 Albedo from his initial release near the start of the game... No regrets, though, for one he was on the first Bennett banner, which allowed me to main melt-Bennett and Q vape Mona for a bit, and obviously just get an amazing character. Then I also don't regret it cause I will eventually level him, it's just that I STILL haven't really delved into geo as a whole, and my specialists for other areas just got better and better over time. He has his issues, mainly just vs. enemies that despawn the flower, but when he works well, he feels SUPER smooth to play.

I haven't regret pulling for any character, to be honest. I make use of every character in some form or fashion. Weapon banners, on the other hand... Some late term regret simply because of some of the money I dumped into trying to get weapons that turned out to not be so great, like Zhongli's "signature" polearm.

I originally regretted pulling for Cyno, but he eventually grew on me with the hyperbloom playstyle.(with the inazuma craftable polearm he works very well) Who I regret getting tho is Albedo, Xiao, Wanderer, Ganyu and Klee. A litle Ayaka too, but she will see more use after I get Kokomi

characters i always revert to are electro girlies, espescially miko and lisa and ei, i rly like nahida and nilou and yelan, have also started utilizing funerational these days. Kazuha and Zhongli also for their utility and contribution to electro. When we had that inazuma shuumatsuban x fatui world quest i loveddd playing as sara and rosaria bcos they're both so cool

I love Cyno the character. The art of him, the memes, his characterization are all amazing. One of my favorites! ...his gameplay, however, I don't like. I enjoy burst unga bunga spam characters (Xiao and Itto are two of my other faves) but he just feels so restrictive. My guy REALLY needs a shield or interrupt resistance in order to feel functional, which can be hard with reliance on a good electro battery, dendro applicator, and possibly hydro applicator if Hyperbloom. It's even harder considering I have a C2 Raiden (with her weapon) that just feels like a stronger electro burst DPS. :(

I fortunately never regret pulling. As for character I use very often now it's Wanderer. I dunno why I pull him, I never was a fan of him, maybe just was washed away by tide of hype around him. BUT NOW I think he's one of the best my choices. He so much fun to play in abyss and open world. And as I build him i use him in every abyss and he saved me a lot of times. I don't have good dendro team so even to 3.5 I never get 36* with dendro team. But already 4 times I think Wanderer get's the job done very well. I build him with VV-set cause I had many bad arts so just used them in strongbox. And get 78/198 crits, but 0 EM. Talents 9/9/9. You may think "dude you gave him VV-set and don't have EM? WTF?" But even like this he produce great damage. My favorite team for him is Wanderer/Diona/Xiangling/Bennet. Unfortunately Faruzan ignored me entirely, but even without her he smash down every mob completely. Now I want him to triplecrown. HE DESERVE IT!

Hmm.. I frequently use Triple-Y combo, YaeYoiYelan, in abyss. As for who I rarely use, I can't think of anyone. But that's because I, from time to time, will try challenge myself to do abyss with some unusual characters, even Aloy. Although results were not always good, it helps changing playing atmosphere. I even got artifacts for each of them, so I can use any of them whenever I feel like it. 😅

Thank you for the great videos. It's simple and straightforward and well organized and definitely shows the effort both in dissecting damage output of various combinations and video quality. My least played character is Albedo. Most played and favorite character is Yelan thus far. Just pulled for Ayaka on guarantee. So, it may be a while before Nahida is added, unless there is some super Genshin luck!!! Nilou is a bit of a skip since, Xinqiu and Yelan crush it. Plus, still need Kokomi, although it may be good to wait for the hydro archon!!! The quest continues for more Genshin peeps. Although, wish content was realeased a little faster without, increasing characters. Also, why does it cost $1000 to max a character with max signature weapon??? I can buy a PS5 and Harry Potter Legacy game for $500 or Switch with both Zelda games + accessories.

Yea I used Dendro a lot when Nahida and AL came out, but I always go back to my favs like Ayaka, Yae, Kuki, Raiden, Shenhe, Koko, Kaz. I will use Eula alot too because I love her. Most all other 5 stars are largely neglected once they hit friendship 10. I'm loving Dehya, but I'm not sure how long I will use her after friendship 10. Add Nilou for Bloom team which I frequent as well.

Keqing has been my fav 5☆ from the start and the fact that she got super buffed with dendro unit made me play her more, I don't regret a single thing when losing to her in 50/50 (I alr lost to her for 4 times). Also her oufit is just super gorgeous than any other character 🤌✨

While I luckily didn't waste a lot of primos on these characters I still regret getting Klee, Cyno, Childe and Xiao! Also kinda kinda regret getting Eula and Dehya due to their issues and playstyle (especially the latter one lol).

I have a lot of characters and I use them fairly often but characters I do not use much at all is Diluc, Razor, Ninguanng, Tighnari, and Heizou. Characters I use a lot are Wanderer, Childe, Itto, Ayaka, Hu Tau, Ganyu, Nahida, Keqing, and Raiden Shogun. At least regarding on-field characters using characters like Yelan or Xiangling are a given but they are off-field.

for me raiden, nahida, kazuha and yelan are real game changers that fit into almost every team comp. they are in every abyss cycle and are really good damage dealers. i don‘t really regret pulling for everyone since i have been quite lucky with limited 5*, it‘s just that i raise and play one character and hoyoverse releases a new one quickly especially with double banners and then i raise that one and don‘t really have time to really appreciate my characters when i have too many so i end up sticking to those with easy gameplay 🤷🏻‍♀️ edit: forgot to mention but i accidently got c1 cyno when i was building pity (although i swore to never do that). he is well built and does good damage but i‘d rather have someone like hu tao or yelan for c1 instead of him haha

The only character I regret pulling is klee, she dosent really help much but the one who I really love to use is eula even though people dislike her, I have so much fun using her and she is my strongest character who could do 1 million dmg

As much as I enjoy playing Alhaitham (one of my current mains), nothing will ever beat the feeling of playing Childe (my old but also current mains) especially in Childe International. Idek why this is the case with the majority of players but his play style is not actually difficult. Once you understand his kit you will demolish every content. His riptide mechanic is also satisfying asf, probably the most satisfying mechanic in Genshin. I don’t have any regrets pulling certain characters as someone who collects them, because who knows maybe one day due to meta shifting, the one character I don’t ever use may become super useful later. Overall its just nice to have them in my account.

Alhaitham! I got him on 5 pity after doing a cheeky 10 pull to see if I could get a 4* constellation. But turns out I actually loved playing him and wish I'd pulled for his weapon now lol.

I don't regret getting any of my characters, though I will say that I could live without Eula LOL Itto, Albedo, Wanderer, Cyno, and Yoimiya have all been fun for me. I'll never regret Tartaglia or Alhaitham since they're my mains

I've also been using dendro a fair amount ever since I started building dendro MC then pulling Nahida, I also built YaoYao to see how well I can build Keqing as well as try Raiden with dendro, I understand that I'm probably the odd one out but I think the five star character I regret getting the most is Zhongli due to not needing him in the teams I play at all such as hyperbloom, international and freeze for abyss I personally just feel like him being Geo and his kit having issues kind of makes me not need him for the teams I like the most.

The characters I really regret getting are the ones I already have on another account. Hu Tao helped me on my main, carrying the abyss with Ganyu on the other team, however.... my other account was doing fine with Ayaka and Yoimiya. Then, during that one banner, I pulled Ayaka on my main and... I don't use her. I literally farmed an entire Blizzard Strayer set for her, a domain I hadn't touched since before I got her but she just doesn't feel necessary when my Ganyu has an Amos Bow. The only character that is exempt to this is Yoimiya, she is amazing and so fun to use I am so glad I got her on both accounts. Then there's Xiao and Cyno, honestly I only got them because I love polearm users but their selfish playstyle and my lack of good polearm weapons really hinders my ability to enjoy them.

I feel the exact same way about Ayaka. I have her fully built with Amenoma lvl90, 9/9/9 talents and solid blizzard set but I don't think I've ever used her. I find Ganyu to be way more versatile since she can be played in melt, freeze and be a support, while Ayaka is just freeze.

My most used is Xiao, I waited for a year after I started playing to finally get him. As to a character that I regret I don’t think there is one, but at first I was scared that I was gonna regret pulling for alhaitham since I pulled for him mainly because he’s hot, but now he’s one of my favorite characters to play and I use him almost as much as I use Xiao

My favorite/strongest teams right now are formed by the ones you don't use a lot: -> Burgeon: Tighnari, Klee, Venti and Kokomi (It came to be for me. Fast rotation and super easy to clean most of abyss levels) -> Freeze: Shenhe, Ayaka, Sucrose/Ganyu and Kokomi (I use it in the last floors) Besides that, sometimes I use: HuTao + Xingqiu; Eula + Shenhe + Fischl + Bennett; Itto + Albedo + Gorou + Bennett.

Among the 5 stars I have, the least played is probably Jean, I just can’t find a fit for her in any of my teams, as for the healing since Yaoyao and Dori, I see more potential in 4 star characters than 5. Also Miko is a staple in every of my team, she’s an electro bomb!

The fact that i've been using Zhongli about 3 Years in my lifespan playing genshin was so insane , i realized that using tenacity set gives a good buff with black tassel is good. But , as corrosion is a thing it was really concerning that Zhongli would not be good at all .

Try tighnari/mona(or kokomi) kazuha or venti, infuse to hydro, add dori (throw the burst beetween you and the enemy in a straight line) or kuki for more comfort and voilá, you get the weirdest hyperbloom team

i don't know if you've heard of a hyperbloom eula team it's super fun! I use nahida, eula, yelan and kuki and it shreds hp :D

tbh i used to regret pulling wanderer as a triple crowned xiao main. running him as a hypercarry just felt so stale in addition to needing a battery and lacking a shielder. then i ended up playing him for whatever reason with triple em and 4 piece vv in an avatar team and he has almost never left my most popular teams since. idc if it’s not meta, anemo swirl gameplay is just so enjoyable and saved him for me.

Throwing in my two cents. I agree with you that it feels like Freeze is getting the short end of the stick in Abyss. I love using my Ayaka freeze team and got pretty lucky on my recent weapon banner pulls. But man, playing Abyss yesterday against those concentrated beast enemies in 12-1 felt like such a slap in the face. I hate that they have some kind of frozen resistance and are able to break out of being frozen at times. It’s so dumb! The only character I regret pulling is Klee. I feel bad I just don’t use her because she was my only Pyro five star back in the early days. And even after I built her, she was fine in overworld but I was sad she was underperforming and felt bad to play in Abyss after 2.0. For Every other character I’ve intentionally gone for, I have enjoyed playing them. Even if some have taken a serious backseat in “retirement”, I am still happy when I used them.

Yelan, Wanderer and Nahida my Trio Favorite. Ihave Kazuha and Raiden i don't usually use them anymore😐 but i dont regret them, i only regret is Cyno and Alhaitham.. i got Alhaitham accidentally and i try him out and im not satisfied to his gameplay even though he is top tier C0 DPS... And Cyno is really hard to use when on field battle even with a shield or heal... You need to max hes energy when he is ON burst and of course hes burst its long seconds... I think Baizhu is going to be a perfect match for Cyno also those Dendro applications of him
