To me this song really have a Scandal vibe to me. As much as I miss the bonkers energy of the Gacharic Spin of old I love the music they've done the last few years even more. To me they have gone from a 'WTF?! Only in Japan'-band to a really top level band doing their own thing on the absolute highest level. They deserve getting a lot more international recognition! With a bit of luck I can see them doing EU/US tours at the same venues bands like Scandal and Band-Maid play. EDIT: Part of me really hope they'll sneak in a new Ban-Jan-Dan kind of thing on their next album just to show they haven't lost their most insane side.

This song touch you in your heart. Replica and this song get them so much variety and makes them fascinating to listen. Angie voice is the highlight for me

Absolutely - the piano adds so much and I agree there's so many little musical touches that elevate it above what's essentially a simple song. Though I love the chorus, I think the pre-chorus and especially Angie's vocal there is the star in terms of building up to that chorus.

There are a lot of songs by GS I have to check out more than one time to get it. This might be one of those. But fact is, at the end that become mostly my favorite songs of them. Like Replica, Let it beat or Reverse Psychology. GS is special, no question. Great musicians, great songs, mostly great lyrics. Love them very much.

MV isn't really nostalgic to me, because I've never been to izakaya 😄, but the music itself is a bit nostalgic in terms of GS, they had at least few songs similar to this back when they had dancers, but when Angie joined, Oreo stepped away from the spotlight for a bit.

Mind, blown 😂! But I'm intrigued, as there's so much going on musically, I assume you mean that you're not really in to these more introspective kinds of songs? I could certainly see that, especially against the rest of the of their catalogue. I wondered if some people would find the mood of the song to not be very "Gacharic Spin".

That's fair enough :) , I guess the risk when trying new things. I sometimes find that with bands I like where they try something new, and I'm glad they did it, but it just isn't as much for me ;) so totally understand!
