They did their first live show 8 October 2009, and in a few days they're going back to the same building, if not to the same club (but close enough, and bigger capacity), to do their 15th anniversary show. I'll be there. First saw them not so long after their debut. They have since toured relentlessly, and have the stage presence, the gravitas, of a band that's accomplished hundreds of shows. A shout out to the late Armmy, their original vocalist, and to Eita, their original guitarist.

Good take about Koga, cuz I know many says she have lot of Flea influence, but Koga always said that her primary (haha) influence, and the one who make her love slapping was Les Claypool ^^

They're the best entertainers in the rock scene! And in my opinion the best rock band for the last 15 years (actually they're a progjazzband disguised as a rock band 😉)

Great review. Helped me pick out some parts I hadn't really noticed before. It's also nice to hear an instrumental song. We don't get all that many from Gachapin so this one is a treat.

@@homegnome2429 It probably goes back to ESP! They should put it on display in the ESP custom store in Tokyo, where also one of Midori’s self built GCA’ is on display.

Now that Koga doesn't seem to do the spins anymore, it's good to see Hana taking over. Got a big pop from the audience too.

@@smb4903 Yeah, Koga needs to look after her neck and not sure Oreo will be breaking out the Keytar again, so it's great to see Hana involved!

Nope. You’ve never seen Hana spin a guitar before. Tomo-Zo lots. Koga a few times, Oreo once on a keytar. Hana only did it for the first time on this tour and apparently wanted to quit at one point as she couldn’t get it right! 🤣
