Anno Nyme - French PC police won't allow it? Don't you believe that it's maybe about styles? Gad is a good comedian and has a light style which is "foreigners are funny". The same way that Louis CK has his "worst of humanity/I hate myself" humor, or Carlin had his "political commentary/sociological" style. It's called styles of comedy.

I remember 7 or 8 years ago, someone gave me the copies of all his shows in France. I did not know him. I was living and working in a country where it was easy to get depressed; but my treat to myself was to listen to Gad every evening, a little at a time, just like you savour a good dish ( I'm french by the way). The guy has a keen sense of observation. He does not pick up on you to make fun at you, no, he tells you the small things in life that him and you are going through, and his secret is to amplify them, and you recognize yourself in them or in situations you have been. If he is as good in english as he is in French, the guy will be immortal! We need a guy like this one to show us a bit of blue sky in our grey world.

You’re late to the party I’ve been watching him for years; also check out his films. So glad Americans are finally waking up to him. There’s a reason they call him the French Seinfeld. Seinfeld himself calls him the French Seinfeld.

Such a good idea to translate His french humour in english... and the fact that we can notice a mark of american touch from the caracter he's playing ... I like the whole project... Bonne continuation Gad.. I 'm still a fan even in english!! ;)
