Well done ,compatriot Hon. Otto for this incisive analysis. You are right on all accounts. The trustworthiness of our men of the cloth is increasingly getting eroded no doubt. Well, one will ask, where is uganda's social fabric still intact? Political leadership at varying levels? It is nuanced opportunism, intrigue, blood letting, avarice...name it! Is it with the legislature where only a handful like yourself still give Wana inchi, a glimmer of hope? We, humble citisens watch that house, with it's never ending melodrama and stand up comedy and wonder what happened to meritious achiement! Where, tell me , where is sanity prevailing in that Pearl? I concur H.E. was right , certainly! When things are bad at home and bad in the forest , a prudent person must choose the less hazardous! That grand , magnificent Mosque is a symbol of Islam in Uganda! Tampering with it is at one's own peril. It does not help that couple of years ago, there was talk that it's magnificence was ironically a sore sight to a few personalities! Word on the grape vine was that someone up there was determined not to rest until the structure was razed to the ground! And like Apartheid, this diabolic thought was ostensibly driven by "the love for God." Never mind Muslims make up 20% of Uganda's population. Like Hitler, many amongst us take on an extremist moral high ground and will stop at nothing in our "divine" quest. Enough lamentation for now.
