Anupam your review on Ritz was great. The Ritz has always been considered a great car of Maruti. Its performance, convenience and driving pleasure are excellent. You are absolutely right to say that the better you use your car, the longer the car will stay with you. You maintain your car very well, that's why it also performs well in long trips & on off-roading You have covered almost all essential aspects in your review. The problem of A pillar that you have mentioned is found in all cars nowadays. This was a big problem for a great car like the Eco Sport. Your sweet rangdum ran well with you for many lakh kilometers, these are my best wishes...

I also have Ritz Vdi and drove 1.3 lakh yeah I agree with A pillar blind spot I also had close calls. To reduce sound you can go for damping To increase drive comfort I suggest you to install 185/70/14 section tyres which maruti also gives in its Ritz top model... Stability and comfort will be increased

Yes....185/70/14 installing is a good idea but have just changed my worn out Apollo tyres to Yoko. May be next time.

I own a 2009 ritz vdi , first batch , 250,000+ km , still strong , nothing matches this car . The torque you feel in ritz is insane , no other car with same feel in this segment

Here it is....an example of Ritz engine running almost 2.5 lakh kms and still going strong. Thanks brother for giving me tha punch I needed. After claiming in this vlog that I will drive this vehicle for atleast 2 lakhs kms some of my viewers thought that I was too optimistic. As you have said the front pillar of this car does gives some blind spots,i have experienced it many a times,especially in reference to pedestrian crossing the road from right to left side. But i have not other complaints and as far as mileage goes with A/c on in city traffic i get 13 to 14 kms And on highways around 18 to 19 kms driving at around 100 plus KMS speed. And comparing this same mileage with a petrol car,petrol cars with a/c on in city traffic it hardly gives 8 to 9 kms per liter.

Good and an honest review. Yes, position. A piller is a problem for many owners. Really, Ritz is a good hatchback of Maruti, even it is better than Swift. I an surprised, why this car was discontinued by Maruti.

Ritz was discountined of low sales figures probably because many people didn't like it's tall boy design.

Ritz name was trademarked by Hilton hotels and they couldn't use the European name(Splash) because it was trademarked by Ford(in India) 2. Internal politics inside Maruti which led to poor marketing and product development 3. Suzuki Splash was discontinued globally and gave way to Ignis as part of global strategy

You showed some very practical value added comparisons 👍 In diesel engine sometimes I used add-on which help to lubricant your engine. Also engine oil quality is another factor nd some ppl use flushing the engine oil before filling new oil. Service center cost comparison is absolutely perfect... We all agree on that.. 👍

I noticed that while driving on the 45° stretch to Lamauru from Padum, you had to drive mostly on 1st gear. How was that stretch? Or on the way back from Chandratal to Manali you had to drive mostly in 1st gear. Did you have any issue in the engine or gearbox later? Didn't the engine get heated too much so as to suffer from a seizure? Thanks.

Both roads were quite different....in The road near Padum steep incline and muddy roads was the problem but the stretch was only 5kms long. Kaza Manali road was totally different there incline was not a problem but the roads were completely broken with huge boulders in between. For me that was more tough. However slowly slowly the car cleared all obstacles. And during or after the drive the car never gave any problems

Hi I'm planing Spiti just after Holi in elite i20 petrol. With Total 4 peoples I want to ask u if I go with i20, in extreme off roading conditions, what kind of issues i20 will face when I drive it back in regular areas like highway on normal roads as well. Coz some one told me that u may go with i20 in Spiti valley but if u come back on the normal roads your car will not be performe well as much as in past So plz tell me about it in berif or make a sperate video on this topic, ki what kind of changes comes in car. Because i dont want to degrade my car's performance.

Car's performance only degrades if you drive roughly. My car never showed any such signs after my Spiti trip. You just need to drive gently and make sure that your vehicle doesn't get any underbody hits. Having said that driving to Spiti in a hatchback in March is not a good idea. In some sections you will have to drive in snow which will give you are a lot of problems. Either choose mid May to June when snow melts or best is to drive in September which is the most preferable season to drive at high altitudes.

Few points here : you said total service cost is 2500, it seems you are using conventional or semi synthetic oil, a good oil like shell helix or Castrol magnetic itself cost around 1800 to 2000 rs, a synthetic oil not only increases life of your engine but helps in wear and tear and increase fuel efficiency, so instead of changing for every 5k kms, make it 8 or 9k kms but use only full synthetic oil

आपके मेरे अनुभव एक जैसे हैं, ritz के बारे में, 15 घंटे तक चलाते हुए रुकने की इच्छा नही होती 1200 km ये इंडिया के बाहर स्प्लैश नाम से अभी भी मौजूद है, सबकुछ यही है बस नाम बदल दिया। मारुति ने इसे क्यों बंद किया, पता नहीं।

बिलकुल सही🙏 रिट्ज और स्विफ्ट मे एक ही इंजन लगा है और रिट्ज का डिजाइन कई लोगो को पसंद नही आता था जिस वजह से मारुति के बाकी मॉडल्स के मुकाबले रिट्ज काफी कम बिक रही थी इसीलिए मारुति ने इसे बंद कर दिया।

एक कारण ऐसा भी हो सकता है कि जैसे इनोव्हा को लॉन्च करने से पहले टोयोटा ने क्वालीस को बंद किया, शायद उसी प्रकार से किसी और कार (शायद इगनीस) के लिये रिटझ को बंद किया गया हो 🤔

Mujhe ye car ₹ 3.5L li padi. Lane k bad bhut logo n high cost pay krdi esa bolre h but smj nhi ara m n kitne rupey jada de diye market value s.. Or kya av mujhe loose hoga coming 6months m sale krunga tb..

Kisi bhi car ki cost usko chalaye bina aur usko condition dekhe bina nahi bata sakte....lekin jab aapne le hi Li hai to itna mat sochiye. Ritz bahut badiya gadi hai...uska ji bharke anad uthaiye
