That soldering block connector holder thingy is genius. Can I have that 30 years ago. I also dig the SD9. Originally purchased because it was cheap but it keeps sticking around. I like it after the AP Broadcast. Thanks for the music and fun gear videos.

@@joeylandrethmusic LOL. I'm sure. I think that my board is quite large physically, but two of the pedals are huge (a Zoom G3X and a Line 6 AM4). Your small board is only slightly smaller than my huge board!

Why did you decide against a taller board that you could mount pedals underneath? Double surface area for more toys
@joeylandrethmusic Жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don’t know. I felt like this was going to be the best option and once it was all built I kinda wished that I had put it on something that had more real estate underneath. All in the name of science!

Hi Anna. Would be very un-Canadian to not say hi after she said hi. Loving the Squidwards. Appreciate addressing my inquiry. Feel a bit of an idiot not remembering it was the Blooper on the big board. But as that board had more pedals than the average L&M I'm not too worried. Board's looking tidy.

Here’s one for ya, could you get away with ditching the Emperor and setting up a vibe preset on the Condor? I’ve got one going and it’s decently convincing, especially if you’re trying to minimize.
@joeylandrethmusic Жыл бұрын
Would love to hear about how you’re doing that! I’m a super fan of the subtle pitch shift and that’s what I’ve been using the emperor. Since finishing the board I actually had it out on a gig a swapped a bunch of things around including the emperor. So, yeah! Tell me how you’re getting the condor to pitch shift!
@aaroncurtis4476 Жыл бұрын
@@joeylandrethmusic I keep getting the JHS Unicorn and Emperor mixed up. I was thinking of a univbe type thing with the Condor. Here’s my settings for that as they may come in handy at some point. If only one could get some actual pitch shifting out of the Condor, now that would be something. Univibe type settings: Gain and Ramp: 10 o’clock Freq: 2 o’clock Vol: 1 o’clock Bass: Fully clockwise with toggle to the left Mids: Fully counterclockwise with toggle in the middle LPF: 2:30 o’clock with toggle in the middle Dipswitches: Freq, Bass, Bounce: On
@joeylandrethmusic Жыл бұрын
Ahhhhh, cool! Might have to try that… yeah, that’s the trouble when you don’t have what the pedal does in the name!!
@aaroncurtis4476 Жыл бұрын
@@joeylandrethmusic I don’t have a Thermae, but I’m guessing you can’t get some sort of pitch shifting that would do out of it? That said, you’d lose out on having a delay when you do. I have a couple Tonal Recall RKMs on my board, and one has a preset saved for that wonky-chorus type thing, almost similar to a Shallow Water. Joel Korte did a “Boards of Canada” preset video I swiped the settings from. It works for me when I don’t have my Shallow Water on my board. That’s the nice thing with these Chase Bliss pedals. Anyway, good luck with the board build and upcoming tour. Will look out for you guys across Canada in 2023 (Banff show last year was great!).

Why use (and take up the real estate) of the GFI Duophony, when you can utilize the matrix of the ML10X? ALSO...why did you choose the big-ass GigRig-2 loop switcher instead of the Morningstar MC5 (no buffer on that one, my friend)...integrates with your MC6 Pro way easier. Surprised that there wasn't a Jackson Audio Bloom V2 on your board...I think that's where I found out about you...I have one and there is a mode named after you. Have you tried putting the Audition into one of the ML10X loops? I have this idea of using it for a send of "dry" for a Wet/Dry/Wet set up on an otherwise "stereo amp" set up (old school JC120 player). I love your Canare preference...I learned to make cables on Quadstar...the unbraiding of the ground is an art. Nice build...hope I didn't "KZbin armchair coach" on you too much...just curious. You're the pro...I just want to understand the logic (OR...the lack of, because sometimes we do things our own way). Keep on making sweet suite music.
