Adore the sounds you get out of the Condor. Hopefully it inspires Chase Bliss to do a reissue, because trying to ape that with a wah in one side of a dual mono is a pale imitation (but it is cool). Also it warms the cockles to hear that the Slide Deities Dylan Adams & Joey are busting each others chops over pedal count.

I would love to see that. I actually got mine at the very last minute and if it ever dies, I’ll be devastated!!

Loving this. I'm in the middle of yet another "last" board build and I finally think I've reached the right balance between having presets as well as the easy on-the-fly tweakability that traditional pedals provide. Happy to say I've made a lot of similar decisions... Midi controller with a morningstar midi looper. support for 1 or 2 amps with a midi controllable ABY, a couple of programmable pedals, but mostly traditional pedals. Can't wait to have the thing done. Now if I could just play better...

As is the case with all of your videos, everything you touch sounds glorious. What interests me the most about the smaller board is the idea behind it. My favourite Landreth Bros. clips are always the smaller, more intimate ones. Just a few friends, in a room, making music together!

You mentioned missing some "on the fly" controls. The Morningstar MIDI foot controllers also respond to MIDI. You have the option to not allow those messages to go down stream, AND you can send simple messages to the Morningstar and it will do its magic (ei: CC9 from dumb control = MC? does 20 things). I use this cheapo "M-Vave Chocolate" 4-button switch (ultra tiny and $15 on Temu), into my MC8 almost like a dedicated Aux switch, to do Bank control, Page switching and an always available Tap/BPM...but you could probably set it up as a dedicated "loop on/off" for any pedals on the GigRig Looper or MC10X, if you wanted to experiment, without setting up a new patch on the MC6 Pro. Just some nerd love. You are amazing.

@joeylandrethmusic Жыл бұрын
Very little drive is coming from the amp in this situation. But I am running it post drive which I’m assuming your FX loop would do in your amp. Just depends on if your loop is series or parallel.
