A lot of people are wondering what happened to Gurubrew. From what I've gathered he was contracted to build a machine for a secret organization. Something happened that shifted his particular time location. He is now working with a great inventor from the past who must remain nameless. He will return but just how much time passes on this channel is undetermined. Thank you for your patience.

The attachments actually go into a hole on the side of the camera, then you slide the plastic retainer over it to secure it.

I bought one of these off of eBay, and I admit that for what it costs it is very good

That's pretty cool and for the price looks really good. I could see 3d printing some flexible joints or clips to hold a solid copper wire and make it more steerable... I think i need one of those.

At our lab, we use a very handy mobile app called EndoData Pro for referencing flexible endoscope specs. Very handy endoscope app, especially for field reps. We use the iphone version but I believe there is an android version as well.

I can't find it for android. I have a wifi endoscope that uses Wifilook app and it's atrocious. I'm unable to turn on the lights so it's useless. The instructions don't even say anything on how to turn on the lights.

I purchased the same scope from another source and can not make it work with the app it is supposed to use and I was hoping you would mention what app you used.

No one seems to test the thing to see how far the thing can transmit. One fellow set one up in a bird's nest box and I thought to try and find one that I could use with our WiFi and my laptop computer to watch the eggs hatch and so forth. Few folks bother to examine specifics such as focal length, transmitting distance, platforms (other than cell phones) so one might figure out 'how else' these WiFi cameras might b used. Maybe in the front door view thing to see who's come a knocking without getting out of bed?

I tried 3 different phones before I got it to work. Huawei Moto7 and then a Samsung, and if the 45-degree mirror doesn't work it probably has a plastic protective film that must be removed

What nobody seems to mention is the big flaw with these cameras. That being they are not steerable, they don't articulate. Trying to control the end of the camera from the other end is minimal at best. They tend to want to curl up when you get them into the space and are not controllable.

I bought the non-wifi version, and I was less than impressed. That module makes all the difference! I think that I'm going to order that version.

Spend the extra $10 for the wireless version of the endoscope, like the one in this video. The wired version is basically useless to use remotely, unless you like dragging your laptop or desktop pc on site where you need the camera. Most all phones and tablets will not work with the wired version as their OTG function does not support video devices, no matter what the Chinese advertise. Been there. Get the wifi version!
@user-ev7qw8oi7e6 жыл бұрын
I would advise you plug the endoscope directly into your phone or laptop to get much better frame rates. I don't see a benefit to having the WiFi box since the camera is in your hand.

I bought a very similar endoscope, I can view via wifi on an Android phone (HD Scope app) and view via USB cable on a PC (ViewPlayCap v.3 software). I cannot work out how to view via wifi on the PC - I can connect to the camera wifi from the PC but can't find any software that lets me view the stream. Maybe it is designed not to allow this? Perhaps I could connect the PC to the camera using the phone as an intermediary, but that would defeat the purpose - may as well just use the phone. The camera I have also has no network security/password inbuilt and broadcasts its MAC address as the SSID (bad idea?)

I bought one of these. The hardware looks the same as yours, but mine is not wifi. Mine is called Bluefire. The software is so bad that it's useless. The software constantly crashes. It won't work on Amazon tablets. It locks up my Galaxy Note 5, which is a good phone.

I just seen a video with that scope being used to look at the inside of a air compressor tank. They was checking to see how bad it was rusted. They got scared and stopped using it. Due to it could become a bomb. If the thing would blow with a full tank of air. It could seriously injure somebody with all that shrapnel inside the tank.

I wanted the Wifi, The PC would stay on the bench to record everything. Worked with the USB connected to the Pc, had fast jerky images at first, then I moved the camera at a snail's pace for normal speed viewing. Wifi? Pc connected to the camera's wifi signal, but the program could not connect pc to camera. The rar (zipped) file installed program dropped "2.0 Camera" in Devices program's tab off the list. Reconnect camera with usb back to pc, the program would list the "2.0 camera" again. Still waiting for reply from seller named firstmatch.

This sounds like the same issue I am having, maybe some cams only work with phones? Surely there must be a solution (Android emulator on PC? but I tried a few and no joy yet) - If I do find a solution I'll edit my comment.

Interesting, compared to mine(today is 2019) from ebay as well, slightly different shape of the handle, the plastic control with battery in it , mine has got smooth frame rate, bot like the one you have got and i would be pretty sure they are all the same endoscopes at that price range from different sellers coming in different shapes, the head of your endoscope, the actual camera looks exactly like mine so i think they ate all the same , mine is also 3,5 meter so i would blame your phone...well,maybe not the phone as i am quite sure even that weird phone is capable of wifi transmitting smooth signal so it might be due to the software on your phone. I AM RUNNING IOS OF COURSE ON MY IPAD PRO so whatever Android or any other software app you use is SORRY TO SAY,CRAPPY:)) i am running it on the same app, the wifi look on the highest resolution, i think something like 1600x1200 or something like that..i am just wondering about the battery as from the package out i tried it and died in around 3minutes or so, so i charged it and going to try it later as it days the battery is 800mA. So running full light, recording video with transmitting it thru wifi , i really wonder what is the battery life in such conditions:)
