Appreciate the insight. Will check my switches tomorrow.

So spindle EMI stsrted to attacked my USB and only the USB. To fix it i had to add a USB isolator and also wrap the cord in an EMI jacket and bond it to the machine ground bus. All that to figure out i had created a ground loop with my laptop using a different outlet than the machine was using. Anywyas i over killed the issue, but it meets requirements 2x 😅

If you only get a 12 volt reading on a fully charged battery it’s shot…. I knew right away it was going to fail.

This is definitely very economical but the smoke machine I had (I've since sold it), the outlet would get really hot so of I attached something to it, it had to be metal because anything plastic would melt. I might be looking for a new smoke machine soon, hopefully the outlet will run much cooler. And I'm assuming the machine in this video is a chemical fogger, which requires heat to atomize the liquid. The one I had was purchased about 15 years ago so I'm guessing the new ones run cooler.

I just literally got one of these for scrap yesterday with boxes of extras. I wanted to hang onto it so bad because i found it interesting, but I had nowhere to store it. I'm so kicking myself in the butt for scrapping it but I did save some parts from it. Thanks for the info.

Fantastic fix for our microwave! Thank you for being so thorough and helping us to fix something minor ourselves, while giving us all of the information to keep us safe and a pathway to not having to replace the microwave.

Just a hint you keep saying drive it's called a lens inside and you can use a drop or two or alcohol it has to be 99 percent to help get stubbornness of cleaning I always try this method of cleaning them sometimes the discs your using needs a through cleaning or buffing that's why it don't run right just a hint make sure that you let it dry inside too

Is there a way to rig an optical mouse to ignore Y axis input and only use the X? I have a condition where my hands shake, sometimes pretty badly making it impossible to see what's going on on the screen unless I take my hand off the mouse entirely! I've been using an Auto Keys Macro to toggle my Y Axis on and Off as needed, but the game I'm playing now doesn't allow that and completely disables my Auto Keys. Even if it ruins the mouse, I'll buy a cheap one to modify and use that one when I'm having problems and I need to eliminate, or at least minimize, the Y axis input.

You can try going into the settings in your computer and look for the mouse set up.You may have some functionality that you can change in there.

Its 7 years later and headphones still have this crappy flaw. Not just these in particular. My father got me some jbl tune 760nc last Christmas. At the time, they were 135€, so around $146. I've never dropped them, ever!! I'm taking my 2nd degree in the field of sound and image. I take good care of my equipment. The headphones just broke on the side while I was wearing them. They're the best headphones I've ever owned, but the ear piece is too heavy to only be connected by something so fragile.

Leave the covers off and run saw at idle and see where oil is coming from. Mine comes out where the bar gets oiled while idling. It should only oil at high rpms. There should be a way to adjust how much oil is applied.

You can change the power saver settings on the laptops. Ive been running an old laptop with a built in parallel port it works fine with Mach3. I have to replace the setup though because I want to run the latest LinuxCNC and can get any version past 2012 to load on the i686. Going to switch to a PC with pciE parallel port
