Thanks for the review, I was interested in these rugged phones to get my son his first phone as he is clumsy but now decided to get something like a Poco X6 and a rugged case these aren't very good spec wise and if battery is the issue just buy a power bank

My concern with the Doogee V30 "pro" is that apart from the extra memory it has less features than the V30 (non-pro version or standard version) as it does not have thermal imaging nor e sim. In my experience the pro version of the standard version is superior. This makes the Pro version more of an equivalent to the V30. Might have been better to have given it a different name.

What is the battery degradation like. Its not enough to have a big battery, more importantly is whether the battery stops retaining charge after 3 to 4 years

Hi, I have a doogee v10 and I think is more than three years older and the battery is quite ok, I charge during the night and the next day I have battery the entire day and night. Hardly use I will say 12-14 hours. But my phone for example has some bugs, some apps crack in the middle of the process. So the idea is that is impossible to be perfect or good; for the price at the moment I will say that is ok. The thing what is really bad is the customer service.

I dont recommend. After 1 year it has some software bugs. I have to turn it off and on often because it wont load apps. Battery still great. Too bad for the lazy firmware update
