ICOM ID50A Terminal Mode Using Doozy - Do D-STAR the Easy Way!

Thanks for the very helpful video! We don't have any D-STAR repeaters nearby, so I thought I would try out terminal mode on my radio. I just made my very first D-STAR contact thanks to your very well laid out step-by-step instructions.

Thank you so much for this Video. I was struggling with DStar settings for my local repeater, and gave up after getting unsupportive “comments” from users on my local “friendly” net. Seeing this this morning, gave me a kick up the butt and after a couple of downloads I was listening to reflectors all around.

Soon the ID52A with the next firmware update will be able to do terminal mod through Bluetooth, just like the Kenwood D75A,

this app needs the Bluetooth upgrade, this way you could use the Bluetooth terminal mode on the id-52 plus,

Eventually they will figure out how to get the radio to connect directly to the wifi or android device & eliminate all the other BS
