How to apply for ECR and Non-ECR passport in India| 2024 Process

Hi my father is a senior citizen and yesterday was his appointment, but they are saying they require his father death certificate? Fortunately he is having but it was at home my father told he will get it by Monday but he had given the appointment on 2nd Jan 2025. Is there anyway where we can get this done early? Pls help with this
