I love it when the bass overdrive can be made out alongside the guitars instead of getting buried like most metal mixes

I think they are properly rated. They have a better sound than most big time production BM bands. The aesthetic is killer.

I’ve not yet , but I will , read the lyrics. Watching the vocalist has intrigued me, to the point, where I must know what he is saying. I feel an amazing- dark, emotional tale being told. Besides this , the musicianship is top tier.

Good catch. A couple hits, actually, neither of them audible. With as many mics as that drum set has, you'd think at least one of them would have picked up that cymbal, unless...
@evananderson81653 жыл бұрын
@@fartsworth666 Honestly my guess is they had triggers on the drums and decided to completely re-sample the drums with superior drummer or something. I know it's pretty damn common to have triggered samples on drums in metal to help them cut through the mix. It's weird to catch visual confirmation and be like OH YEAH i really hear that it's all midi drums now

Don't get me wrong I love the band and album but I really wanted A: more than 1 song from them on Slay at Home and B: an actual live studio recording. Otherwise I would've just watch their awesome music video. I see that's been happening a lot with S@H performances. Honestly it really takes me out of the performance, not to mention with that hood on the singer could just be rhyming Dr. Seuss and no one would know.

I'm all for metal being hardcore, sincere and real, but I gotta keep it real, I much prefer the Black Metal that supports the "Black Arts Future Fund" than the Black Metal that gets written after somebody victimizes gay people. The church burning stuff never bothered me too much if I'm being honest, but the hate crime stuff needs to loose out to this stuff Seriously though, really quality performance. I like that bass tone in this context. You coulda told me this was overdubbed from a record and not the live sound and I'd have prolly believed you. Not to mention I love a long song. Hope to hear more from this band
