Seldom a voice this rich dares Lucia's title role. Amazing aftermaths, particularly brilliant in her entire Mad scene. This particular staging topped all up though! From depicting like none other human deep gloominess to human giving in to hopelessness like never before that I've watched. I'll allow myself a "madness" to end with: I do hope this genius tenor turns out a major sensation in the opera world. No other Edgardo vocalisms filled my heart with joy & admiration like here.

Fantastic rendition. I have totally loved the singing and acting! I usually enjoy moderately modern mises-en-scene, but I truly don't understand the useless grotesque naked scene. But, again, why be subtle when blatant becomes the norm?

The setting is the Scottish Moors- dark, drab, gloomy often depressing. Most productions are like this, never on a sunny day, much like Emily Bronte's novel, Wuthering Heights.
