Three years ago I got my first phone and started listening to her on and off(before I really developed my own music taste) but then kind of forgot her. Quick story. Lady Gaga came to my city (Cambridge, MA) 8 years ago for a photo shoot for Polaroid. I was lucky enough to be her police security detail for the day. We spent some time talking and she was the coolest, most down-to-earth celebrity you could ever meet. For whatever reason she took a liking to me. I think being Italian helped. She seemed fascinated with my last name and what part of Italy my grandparents were from. But anyway, it's a day that I will never forget. My only regret is that I didn't ask her to dinner. And no, I'm not foolish enough to think I'd ever have a chance with her romantically. I'm just talking about grabbing a quick bite and having good conversation. Deep down, if she was in town for the night, I really think she would've accepted the invitation. So the moral of the story is, don't ever fear rejection or you'll always live with regret.
@JKalama257997525 жыл бұрын

The woman is ******** talented. She invents her own shit, is good with pianos, synthesizers, and guitars, knows how to sing, started showing talents at a young age, and is smart. Also, she is an advocate for LGBT community and anti-bullying. She is eccentric, and though I don't like her meatball dress, and sometimes I think she's from another planet especially due to her latest record, I like her overall. She has an IQ higher than most people (recorded 166) but doesn't come off as a robot similar to most intellectual people, possibly because she's also SENSITIVE. Point in short: she isn't one-dimensional like most intellectual people or stupid like some sensitive people. She's an all-rounder in creativity, intellect, and a kind heart. And I like most of her eccentric outfits (although not the meatball one, lol!) and her electronic and more "traditional" music.

When she first debuted I did my searches and noticed immediately that she recorded her records in pop format but almost always switched between performing the recorded version or did a live rendition. This performance is amazing and her voice even then is clear and powerful. She's been giving it all to us since day one.

She is one of the most talented and amazing human beings i ever seen or heard of! This version is a million times better than the actual recorded studio version! Almost every song she does "acoustic" or lets say just her and a piano/keyboard is better than every studio version she recorded! She is sooo incredibly good at really nailing and capturing the authenticity of the moment, and of the song being played!

I saw Lady Gaga's Enigma show in Las Vegas last week. The BEST CONCERT EVER!! She has an incredible voice, plays her own instruments, and can DANCE like a fiend. Terrific stage presence and vocals that brought the house down. Visually stunning stage and set and multiple costume changes made the concert even better than I thought possible. I love Paparazzi and she sang this and many of her popular songs as well as her newer material. LOVE IT!!

Would it be wrong to say that if she was to release an album. .or even a few songs..where it's only her, her piano. .maybe a guitar and maybe even a violin. . That it would be quite amazing? ... I'm not a fan of her music. . I'll be honest. But stumbling around youtube I found this video and I have to say, the woman has an amazing voice. Just curious.

ebbok I don't know why you felt the need to respond that way - artists do side projects and he's suggesting one that would work well. She obviously has an interest in doing so - this video is evidence of that. And he said she had an amazing voice. He's not insulting her, he's just saying he's not a fan of her electronic pop sound but is acknowledging her abilities as a singer and pianist.

I'm a die-hard Gaga fan. I've been a fan since before she was very popular, when she was just playing small clubs. Any time anyone has told me they don't think she's talented, I show them this as proof that she's not just some ordinary poptart, but she's an incredible musician all around. It's really hard for them to argue after seeing this.

I remember looking for a paparazzi acoustic version because I thought the original had beautiful lyrics. When I saw lady gaga did one, I never clicked so fast in my life. And of course, with oscar-worthiness, she delivered the delivery I was looking for in this song and this was 10 years ago. To this day no one can provide a better rendition of this song.

It’s a shame that in today’s pop culture, the musician who is most associated with “classic, raw” music skills is Adele, when in fact Lady Gaga runs CIRCLES around Adele in terms of talent and ability, and songwriting prowess. (And that’s not even including Gaga’s huge stage presence and dance skills). Many have a misguided view of Lady Gaga because in addition to her music, she’s always been a provocative visual artist like Bowie. And her music is less traditional than the likes of Adele or Coldplay for example.

The Fabulous, Horny Aunt Harriet I’m pretty sure Gaga has an insane amount of more fans than Adelle. Adelle is just more relevant rn. Gaga hasn’t come out with music in a while. Also, Gaga is my richer than Adelle proving she sells more shows and singles.
@LegionIvory6 жыл бұрын
I would actually say Adele is the better singer, but Stefani is certainly the better songwriter.
@sunner1086 жыл бұрын
Why you gotta put somebody else down though? If you prefer Gaga's music over Adele's, that's totally fine, but saying she "runs circles around Adele" is a bit much. Both are great and the reason Gaga isn't always recognized for her musical ability is because a lot of her music doesn't really show off her vocals, whereas Adele's music is all about the vocals. Clearly Gaga can sing but why you gotta compare her to anyone? To each their own.

It's not a question of look or the way she wants to appear or not. It's a question of being a musician or not. And she is! Not even a question of the quality of the voice or whatever. It is more about authenticity. Can you feel how authentic she is? I think that if I was in the same place as her I would be drawn Under the waves of her authentic charisma.
