I can so clearly remember my 14 year old self in the summer of 2009 spending every day just singing along to her acoustic versions - especially this one - learning every single lick, run, and trill in these videos. Just jamming the fuck out. What a classic performance. I'm sitting here at almost 20, and after 7 years of looking up to her so passionately I finally got to see her in concert a couple days ago, just a few feet away from her. She usually creates her songs with her piano. She says if you create it with a piano it's able to be transformed into different genres, such as country, pop, or rock, and still sound great. For example Born This Way. She made a Country Road of BTW, and I think it sounds pretty good! :)
