Man...Gizz really is a culmination of every influence I ever had. It's fucking crazy how they meld 70's metal, with 80's thrash, and 90's alternative...throw a dash of jazz and a hint of blues ..gawd lawd

Them going from Gaia, a song about how important the Earth is to the greater scheme of things, into Motor Spirit, a song about the exploitation, destruction, and violation of Earth and its resources, is nothing short of brilliant. If you told me Gaia was in Petrodragonic Apocalypse I wouldn't have any doubts.

They did the "songs mid Gaia" trick in Brazil while I was there, probably my favorite part of the show.

Is Stu's explorer a custom job or did Gibson really make a hollowed-out Explorer? I need it.
@bobdylanlovr692 ай бұрын
That is a Gibson Holy Explorer. Only 350 made. Gonna be difficult and pricey to find but it’s probably possible. You could get a custom job done cheaper Funny story, this one and their Flying V had been crushed by a lift in Barcelona on tour in 2022 and decapitated the guitars. It was really bad apparently and they eventually had to get a whole new neck made. Their Instagram has pictures of the incident if you scroll down far enough.
