In her award-winning book, Adventures in the Anthropocene, science writer GAIA VINCE explains how humans have created a new geological epoch. For her much-anticipated follow-up, Nomad Century, Vince describes the concrete impact that the Anthropocene will have on our lives. In particular, she explains how climate change will render large swathes of the world uninhabitable and what this will mean for the further mass migration of populations (hint-Scotland might be a good place for long-term property investments). In conversation with BBC's KIRSTY LANG, Vince proposes concrete measures that humans can implement to manage the consequences of immense environmental and climatic change.
