Gaige Leveling Guide - Level 1 to OP10 - Part 4: Digistruct Peak - Borderlands 2

In this video, we look at how to take Gaige the Mechromancer through Digistuct Peak to get to OP10. We go over the bosses that will be seen in the peak, some general approaches to combat, some good gear options, and how the process works from OP0 up to OP10.
This is the final part of a series designed to take Gaige to OP10, the maximum level after the release of the Fight For Sanctuary DLC.

This was the best guide I've ever seen for boarderlands 2. I know you mentioned that you wanted to do all characters, but do you have plans to make guides for the other games?

For the other games, no. I don't know pre-sequel well enough to make guides for that and Borderlands 1 is pretty simple because there aren't as many skills in that game. You can almost fully complete 2 trees. As for future guides for BL3, maybe in time but I don't think it makes sense to do a guide like this for a few months to a year because so much is subject to change.

Tip: When you leave the winged storm, down yourself with grenades/launchers (or let the skeleton midget kill you). The default new-U station in Lair of Infinite Agony is the fast travel at the beginning, so you'll respawn there and can immediately travel to sanctuary. If you save quit after you see the save/vault symbol, you'll even hold on to your money.

This was a great series and very helpful. I have always kind of disliked Gaige because i felt that you needed to pre-stack to actually do good damage but you have proven me otherwise. Definitely gonna give her a try.

Looked at this to help and man, the OP7 (to get to OP8) was a tough run. My topneaa saved my ass at the Assasins. Such a rough run. But I did it. Hard part is over. Worst comes to worst, I just to the Peak Skip with the Grog + Badaboom + Sham jump.

Nice guide for digistruct peak. Btw, how about using the buck up trick when using the bee? Stacking it can pretty much make the bee refill instantly.

Picked this game up back in May and now going through the OP levels (currently OP4). It's good to have five or more characters at Level 80 with only one that has got the mission reward items. The others can be used to farm OP gear at different levels with one being saved to get all OP10 gear. This can then be duped to a second account character and then duped back to all your Level 80 characters on your main account. I've played through the game many times, so it's not as if I'm taking too much of a shortcut by circumventing resets. Very good guide 👍

The Fire is kinda disappointing, but you may want to consider a Hot Mama. Getting hits, let alone crits, at high Anarchy is hell and for flying targets, loaders, constructors, spiderants, really anything that especially benefits from critical hits or is exceptionally hard to nail with Close Enough shots. The perfect accuracy is a life saver in that regard (it's also a perfect solution to most slag enemies because few if any resist fire).

Working on Krieg guides right now, but I can't say for sure when the peak vid will come out, especially with BL3 coming in a month. He's rough in the peak though, probably the hardest character to run through it with.

So this series was so in depth, you can't even imagine, how helpful this could be if... I haven't stop playing Gaige at uvhm bunker. No there was no problems taking out the bunker. Just the close enough mechanic, give me brain cancer. I mean, it's boring for me. Anarchy Gaige playstyle is most definitely not for me. So du you plan to do an in depth guide on any other characters? I mean i wanna start playing Zero and Kriege... kriege would be first time, zero would be second but after years... and befor i only did tvhm with him. I already got to 80 with Maya and Axton, and both prety straight forward... correct me if i'm wrong but Axton likes explosives like fastball, tediore, dupa and swordsplosion (or unicorn), but bee+sandhawk is more handy against some bosses like Saturn. Maya is the ultimate Sand hawk+bee user. Sal don't need in depth guide... that character is stupidly broken... a mentally challenged kid can take on the ancient dragons or hyperius with Sal...

@@spike736 i only use UCP4.2, since farming quest items is a pain in the ass without it. i mean that's the opposite of fun and really time consuming... more time consuming than farming lady fist from saturn with UCP on with it's low as hell drop rates

How did you farm a topneaa? Is there a definite drop for them? Also the lady fist as I thought you could only get 1 per playthrough. That's why I'm waiting till OP10 to get a lot of the gear I want

Topnea is at the Snowman's chest (train). Gear can be shared between different characters - I've five at level 80 but only one has farmed Level 80 mission gear (Lady Fist ect). Three will farm OP2, 6, 8 and the last (probably Salvador) will farm OP10 gear. This can then be duped via a second account.

Another place is the Haderax Chest. After completing Fight for Sanctuary, you take the mission from Hammerlock that takes you to the Writhing Deep (forget name) and with a Toothpick Retainer Combo, you can climb up to this chest that gives purple or better Launchers. Great place for Topneaas.

So I just stumbled upon this video great video BTW; this might be a dumb question but what about ppl who already reached op 8 on 72 before Lilith dlc, will the op8 guns I farmed at 72 scale with me up to 80 or will I need to refarm them

So when you hit 80, all of your guns will also be 80. As you level up, they will decrease in OP level. So once you hit 73, they will all say OP7. When you finally hit 80, you will have the OP8 peak unlocked but all your gear will be 80, so you will need to refarm unless you want to just play at 80.

I wasn't planning on it. OP10 plus the health buffs to Vorac and Hyperius killed any desire I had to do raiding. If you want to see some good Gaige raiding, check out Giant Fly. I think he has OP10 kills on all the raid bosses with her.

Struggling to get through the OP9 run could just be bad RNG. Aside from the bosses, the spawns are all random but they should be something you've seen in a previous peak run. Some are harder than others, like getting all 4 assassins at once vs another assassins spawn. So the only difference between OP8 & 9 is just enemies having more health & damage reduction. Your level 80 sandhawk will be fine as long as you have an on level bee, because that's where the damage is coming from. If you have a corrosive lady fist, you can phaselock a lot of target and crit them while wearing a bee. And prioritize surveyors. Maya is the best for handling them with phaselock.
