The one thing that I think would help the Re:Rising Gundam is to shrink down the armor flaps on the Wotom Pod.

Eh, maybe. The whole thing is kind of a mess IMO. The concept is fun, the execution not so much. Like for instance - the Wodom legs are actually a little short for this thing. They make up for it by having the legs sit lower than they normally would. And then to keep that from looking too weird they have the massive skirt armors to cover it up. So if you make the skirt armors smaller, you start to see that the hips are too low.

Maybe, but I think it looking like a cluster of mish-mashed gunpla is intentional. I haven’t seen the show, just clips, but from what I’ve gathered, the Re:Rising Gundam wasn’t entirely meant to exist; it was a rush job making them compatible to combine, and it was a weapon of last resort to defeat Alus. It’s four Gundam that had completely separate designs and weren’t intended to work together in a combination, but they made it work.

@@InfernalBanana sorta true, as when they first did it in the training it was pretty unexpected, but kazami did take some points from hiroto's combining gimmick to make his able to combine with other gunpla. had they had time they probably would have made it better, but ye, they had like a day between them figuring out their ultimate move and the actual fight

I honestly like the Re:Rising Gundam in the gold and green. Makes the whole thing look nice, and not just a hot mess of random parts. I'd say my only disappointment with this kit is no gold Mobile Doll May. If I remember correctly it briefly shows up as gold when the Re:Rising shifts its colors to gold as well. Would have been cool to pose everything like in the anime, but with just a normal May, it'd look a bit off to me.

Honestly half the reason I'm buying this is just for that gold Uraven armor. The other reason is because I really enjoy building models, and this is a lot of model to build at a discount. Plus it's always nice to have a big kit on the shelf.

I preordered this kit because I liked the injection gold in the Gourai Kai Final Battle Ver. I'll admit the combined Re:rising is a mess, but at least it's more cohesive than the original colors which looked like an unpainted kitbash.

If anything I would use those gold joints from the Gundams and make a look a like of the strike Gundam, grab some of the gold pieces for a polished armor of some sort, the neon green for any UV light feature and brake down leftovers for weapon designs

I'm more partial to the standard colour version just because I usually don't like unnecessary redecos of kits. The alternate colour Core Gundams are nice because they appear as concept designs in the series when Hiroto is designing the MS, but why recolour a kit for a full release? Also, this should have had a gold coating option just so it didn't look so cheap

The gold plastic being used for joints is probably the issue , gold plastic over time and in general is known for its well tendency to degrade quickly well in the transformers fandom it is, and the fact the molding they use to create the parts probably has had a fair use to but overall still a easy way to get them all

As a Kamen Rider fan, converting to some Gundam cause I’m into robots, this is basically Ex-Aid Hyper Muteki level of gold. Is it worth it for myself, might get it. Do I think it looks cool, yep. But do I have the patients for floppy and falling parts, I play with LEGOs, I’m sure I can handle falling parts

That big chonky box will do quite nicely as storage for my HG BDRR kits once i have more than just the WoDom Pod. EDIT: Or WOULD have if i didn't change up how i stored Gunpla. Using larger Gunpla boxes was proving inefficient so i invested in so folding plastic crate i got off Amazon. They've worked a treat considering the larger capacity and that they stack..
