This seems like a healthy reflection in personal growth. And a funny little anecdote

I am sure most of the women in Frank's work world were brilliant and extremely talented they would have to work with him but they were also drop dead gorgeous as well...sly ole fox he was! You can have it both ways Maestro!

I am in touch with other women who worked at Frank's house and none of us are drop-dead gorgeous. Attractive, vivacious will do.

Debbie, thank so much. I wonder if you would be willing to loan your copy to any of your women friends as I'm keen to reach more women and not just Zappa fans.

The book is great. I meet F.Z. as well, but many things I did not know from his past. F.Z. I met was vulnerable, deep, empathetic and soulful man.

Did you see my reply to your earlier comment? It would be good to meet you if you are in Prague this coming weekend when I will be there to give a talk on the translation of my book. It is good to read your comment about Frank which I agree with as do many people who worked with him. Unfortunately, he gives a different impression in Moon's book.

Hi @paulinebutcherbird is there an interview or video where you respond to Moon Zappa's recent biography? I'm halfway through it and find it fascinating, and really quite moving, and would love to know your thoughts.

Thank you for your interest in my view! Yes, I've posted three times about the book so far. Twice on my FB page, Pauline Butcher Bird. You have to scroll down a bit. I posted a third time on FB but for some strange reason I was not able to access the comments to reply to them, so I've posted that one on KZbin. It's about my concern that readers are getting the impression from Moon's book that Frank and Gail were dreadful parents. They weren't. So I re-posted part of an interview I did with Frank in 1988, five years before he died, when he talked about his children. I will be posting more, but I need a break for the time being!
