New Paper Trimmer and Peaceful Boughs Cards

I purchased the set last year to make cards to take to the homeless shelter in a town near me. However, we had such a warm Christmas season in Oklahoma in 2019 we didn't send cards to the shelter. So I will be making them this year for the homeless shelter and our local nursing home. Gail, your talent is fantastic! You will start making a card and I think , "Oh, Gail, I don't like that color or background,etc." But then the card is beautiful!. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us! I have no talent; I just imitate.

Made the card up, but used the pine cones instead of the ornaments as I don’t have that punch. Turned out beautifully!! Maybe I’ll try your yellow cardinal! :-)...we have a beautiful cardinal family that visits our feeder. I so love cardinal!

The female North American Cardinal is usually a pal tan or light pinkish base with highlight of orange red. As any thing in nature color variation is always possible, immature can be a variety of color . The adult male is the bright red with the black face.

Very nice cards Gail! I like the gold bough and although I don’t do Facebook I did look up yellow cardinal and saw a short video of it from Alabama, So beautiful! I feed birds all winter and I will also tell my Mom (91 years old) about it as she feeds them and watches them also. I know she’ll get a big kick out of it! Thanks for sharing!

Hi. I just came accross your site, so pleased I did. I've been trying card making for months, I dad an accident and I have a brain injury and sometimes my brain is foggy. Yes there are yellow cardinals but very rare. But as a crafter, I think we can color anything any color especially flowers.
