Can you possibly tell me name of the add-on Chanibad uses on the first seconds of this video for arena frames that doesn't have a class icon?

I need some help concerning 14:30: Wouldn't the Shadow Priest and Affli Lock get destroyed in the open, too? Their CC game is probably even weaker than the following example with a Mage, because of Fear DRs, Dispels, Grounding Totem etc. - Additionally, the Ele Shaman will probably constantly Wind Shear either one of the two. The DoT teams pressure also has much longer buildup, compared to the instantaneous annihilation that a Destro Lock and Ele Shaman are capable of. So, what am I missing here, that gives the DoT team the upper hand?

This seems like very good advice. I see there's a lot about positioning I need to improve. I still feel I've learned a lot in the recent years. Unfortunately, it seems translating theoretical understanding into practical execution is incredibly difficult in this game. I'm sorry to say that despite our best efforts and dedication, our havoc/holy priest team never managed to make it even close to our Shadowlands goal of getting an 1800 rating for rival. Now that we start a little break before Dragonflight, our best record stands at ~1500, which is no better than when we started arena 15 years back in season one. I'll have to take this break to re-evaluate our approach completely and try to understand why getting better at theory doesn't seem to reflect in any way on our performance in practice.

Positioning can be one of the most difficult things to learn and it is incredibly rare that players ever truly master it. Our biggest recommendation for your Rival push would be to focus first on having a solid rotation. Do not neglect damage/healing outputs, since they can help overcome positioning problems. Along the way it might be a good idea to record your games and watch your positioning after queue sessions. Notice critical moments of the game and take mental note of where you were standing and how it might have effected the outcome. Did you tank a CC chain that could have been avoided? Were you stunned in a vulnerable position? Did you play to the advantage of your comp with your movement? These are all great questions to ask after games.

@@skillcappedwowpvp Thank you. This is some solid advice. We'll focus on analyzing our recordings next and try to identify the key moments we fail to execute.

my biggest issue is figuring out keybinds for arena 123. I'd rather have some way to work it like a modifier does with focus

I play feral/priest and my biggest challange is mage/rogue or Shadowpriest rogue. With mage/rogue my priest is CC like 90% of the time and I gotta try and bear pillar the mage for like a whole minute and hope to survive. even when i get a chance fight the mage or rogue i have like 8 seconds to do so before my priest is cc again.

very good video, what about the ret paladin' comps aganist elemental, destro and healer for example?
@cavsjm44222 жыл бұрын
Fantastic video. Wish I had discovered this sooner so my comment might have more visibility. I would like to ask about fire mage. I would think fire would be more of a threat in the open field because it has that same level of damage as ele and destro, if just a bit below them. Perhaps a fire mage is too squishy for this. But there is also dragons breath to consider on a 20 second cd.
