You played the straight flush wrong because if he was going to fold you are not losing or gaining no matter what you do so the best option is to bet an amount he might be willing to pay, in this game probably 30 preflop, 60 flop, 120 turn and 240 river.

No way I’m folding those pocket Queens on the river shove. Your opponent sensed weakness on your part when you only called the turn bet, after raising the flop bet. I felt he was holding AJ with the A of diamonds. And The Royal? Check turn, but you gotta bet the river…say $125, to at least give him a chance to call, or blast off.
