Working out with little equipment and seeing all the healthy food gave me some huge motivation. The scenery in Laughlin is beautiful, but 118 degrees is a little much for me. Sounds like a fun trip. 💪💪💪

At the 8:30 mark you mentioned that the dealer made a mistake because action had changed. A button straddle is different than a blind call/raise. On a button straddle it ultimate last action. Meaning that not only will the button have last action post flop but has last action pre. So regardless of action when it goes around it passes the button then comes back. If they don’t want to call the raise they lose the 5$ they don’t get to pull it back like a blind raise/call.

@Moye-iw6ub No, at most locations, including this one if the action changes (some1 raises), then the BU acts in turn and isn't skipped. I'm sure at some places it skips regardless, but the places I've been to if action changes, it plays out like normal.

I really think you should open your mind about donk leading sometimes. Having the view that it’s just always a bad play is a bit narrow. There are many spots where it can be a profitable play.
@GainzPoker2 ай бұрын
99 out of 100 times check to the aggressor. But yes, 1 out 100 for sure there r times when it can be done. The last time I remember doing it was at Talking Stick in February it was multi way, and I had low suited connectors and flopped a flush on a K Q 7 all heart board. I probably had 5 4 of hearts. And didn't want it checking thru cuz probably only top or middle set is C-Betting in that spot. So I didn't wanna take that chance.
@nicholi27892 ай бұрын
@@GainzPokerYou should watch some of Bart Hansens Crush live poker content. Some really really valuable stuff for live players there. I agree that most the time we’re going to check in flow. I think before you make the automatic decision to check to the aggressor you should evaluate the board, your relative ranges, then decide if you’re going to check or not. Docking on low connected or medium connected boards as the pre flop caller can get you some pots where you don’t deserve them. All I’m saying is I think that it’s ill advised to automatically think someone is a bad player if they donk. Especially in 2-5 or higher.

You take a solid win vs a guy and tell them "you have to watch the blog to find out?" Kind of a douchy move. I know you had no ill intent but some of these old hats playing poker don't understand blogs and content creation.

@markb8361 The guy, the last hand, was a young guy subbed right away when he sat down. He was talking more about the vlog than me, but ya, the old lady was like 70 or more so that I could see that. I'm just a small channel, trying to market, so kinda need to tell as many people as possible. Get the word out. Even if people get bugged and talk crap in the comment section. It helps the channel grow. Not being a jerk, I'm just telling people about the channel as much as possible 💪
