The more I look at Gaisma and Narwa side by side, the more I'm convinced that they share a common ancestor. The mouth, horns, arms, hind legs and tail, they're very similar.

@Han16al Same and at the start lot of people were speculating the final boss of sunbreak could have been the offspring of the two serpents, but that has so many holes when we think about it.

I'd personally say it's more of convergent evolution, rather than them sharing a relatively recent common ancestor (in comparison to relation to all other elders, cause they are all closely related apparently) Mostly cause Gaisma has a jaw more reminiscent of a Sarcastic Fringe Head, mixed with a "Phrynocephalus mystaceus", rather than the lower jaw actually splitting like the serpents.

I'm dissapointed I missed the premiere, but damn was that fight good! I had a feeling Allmother would win due to Gaismagorm's size making him a huge target for her bullet hell attacks, but he still put up one hell of a fight. Also It's awesome that this is going to be a two part fight, one in the Coral Palace, and one in the Yawning Abyss. Round 1 goes to Allmother, lets see who wins Round 2......

This was an interesting and awsome battle and I can't wait for round 2 on Gaismagorm's turf. While I do know Gaismagorm had more to give but didn't get the chance to give it, I also like to kind of see the situation being that Allmother Narwa is still technically a mother protecting her young which means she'll fight tooth and nail to ensure her child or children's safety especially in her own nest.

@Timothy Woo You're right she is protecting her nest and naturally the aggression gives her the advantage. When she returned to her nest to find Gaismagorm has survived, she begins her pursuit to finish the job. However, Gaismagorm can now call on it's ultimate; so she'll have to be careful.

Man, this battle was literarily.... "God VS Arch-Demon"--not a merciful god, but a wrathful god. Also, To me, this battle gave me Elden Ring's vibe for some reason. Like, Narwa Allmother = Radahgon/Elden Beast: the final boss with divine Golden Order's power Gaismagorm = Rycard, the Lord of Blasphemy: a hideous serpent with a man's face, whose ambition is to devour the very Gods. I felt some cool similarities here! Any Elden Ring fan here who vibes with me?👀

I don't know, some of those multi-hit attacks from Narwa were only counted as hitting once (her super attack for instance, or those pillars that only had a single hit detection despite hitting it again once it circled around), I was expecting to see Gorms HP melt like what happened with the meteor rain it shot. Other than that great fight.

I don't like the fact that a lot of Monsters are either handicapped or at a disadvantage because of the core function of their abilities. A good amount of attacks don't register or are calculated to hit very small amounts of damage against things that aren't playable human hunters. That's why I feel my favorite monster (Safi'jiiva) is so underrated in gameplay against other monsters.

Also keep in mind the monsties in all of these types of videos, ain't even fighting each other. They just have a mod for an invisible-invinsible hunter playing around with the agro to make them hit each other, this is why you will notice that sometimes they speak attacks in a direction that isn't the other monster. A mod where their attacks are slightly modified to be hits against other monsters as well as perpetual agro on each other would be great. That however, it's not gonna be happening any time soon cuz it will be a pain in the ass to program-develop.

フィールド依存なだけに本来の切り札である淵劫冥撃が使えず、結晶爆撃が最大火力になってたのは厳しかったですね。淵劫冥撃なら無傷で大ダメージを狙えましたし。その辺は防衛側の有利か。 あと地雷撒き突進を多用しなかったり、ブーストタックルを使わなかったのも惜しい。 だが無茶苦茶いい試合だった

The Allmother we fight in High Rank is one that consumed the life force of an Ibushi already at death's door - enough to elevate her to Allmother state, but not enough to let her defeat skilled High Rank hunters.

This video…where do I start? The intro was so epic and well edited, it really made me wanna see the fight even more, and WHAT A FIGHT! From start to finish it was super close and I didn’t know All Mother could pull off her ultimate in a different arena, still Gaismagorm did it’s best and nearly defeated the Serpent Queen! The ending cinematic cutscene has left me super hyped for round 2, I look forward to future content as always this was beyond incredible 😄 👏

gaisamgorm is very powerful but slow as well he wasn’t able to hit Nawa that much she didn’t even get stunned once narwa was too fast for him and the first round the area was too small for gaismagorm to move that much and narwa hit just as hard and that pillar move

@madpro 32 Narwa like most extra large monster only has a few opportunities to drop. for example from stun or if Gaismagorm can do a significant damage during her ultimate it can cause her move to be cancelled and drops her for a short while.

really, the battle was very slow, it should have been faster if Narwa's attacks actually triggered damage the way they are meant to (some instances were purely ignored, some only hit once when they are supposed to hit repeatedly). By lore Gaisma's damage should also have been higher, and the surprisingly poor hitboxes aren't helping. That is awesome battle between final bosses with big mouth, also for area allmother narwa is really great to fight a gaismargon So gaismargon will had chance to battle allmother narwa in his area so gaismargon can easily use final attack to her, I can wait to see happen

Awesome fight! Wanted Gorm to win because fuck Allmother! But the size of Gorm, Allmother AOE moves and the fact that Allmother didn't seem to take any damage from Gorm direct hits for some reason.

@Rookie Red The HP bar is from a seperate program and doesn't syn perfectly with the HP in game, so what you're seeing is slight lag between attacks.
