Sadly these facilities are not available in Pakistan where millions on people fall victim of polio even in 2024. It is very disappointing that government is least interested in providing health facilities to masses. Polio is a life long illness and gets worse after 30's due to post polio. Unfortunately people are unaware of the late effects of this illness and there is little to no support for such patients too. I would say wear callipers/ brace and do regular walking and other exercise to stay mobile and maintain muscle mass as long as possible. Immunise all new borns against polio is a must.
