2009 was a very emotional year for the GVB. Having Michael and Mark back is something that makes Bill very emotional. The relationships that these guys have with each other, and the relationships they have with the songs can be emotionally draining. I don't care what anyone thinks, these guys are the best and they touch my heart, and I don't care how tired and older Mark Lowry looks to others, to me he is adorable, and handsome as ever. Thanks GVB for the truth in your emotions.

The thing that made them tear up before this as I was told that Mike English was sharing how he overcame the addictions with the help of Christ and that it wasn't an instant deliverance but he had to battle through some things.

Jenn, as someone else said it was "Lord, Feed Your Children". I can't find this song from this venue, but I found it where they sang it at another venue, and before Michael sang, Bill was talking about how much he loved having Michael and Mark back.They all had tears in that one. In the last 10 yrs they have lost many of their "Homecoming" family. Howard, Vestal, JD, Jake, Anthony, and now after so many struggles this group is back together, doing what they do best, touching hearts for God.

There is no song that better crystallizes the message of Christianity than this - Gaither just finds a way of expressing the heart of the matter! Sure they look tired, travel as much as they do and try not to be (and eventually) look tired - and the spirit does hit you when in the midst of an environment like this. I've helped run youth conventions and their related worship services - the emotion, the energy - it saps you after a while.

its the hair color and glasses that have made Mark seem older.... And well Bill poor man he is just old lol. The others sounded great! One of the best times I heard English sing it !

Gosh, if you are comparing to most of the videos on KZbin, you have to realize that when Mark became a part of the GVB, he was only 28 or 29 yrs old. Today he is 51. I looked a whole lot different at 28 then I do now at 53. He's been in two major automobile accidents. The last one when he had the wreak on his motorcycle was only maybe 5 years ago. Like I said, I think he is great looking and adorable. I saw all of them late last year and they all looked great, and sang great.

It is finished was sang in 1978 by the group Truth featuring Steve Green. I'd thought it was a band new song just written several years ago when I first heard it with the Gather Vocal Band.Please listen to the group Truth sing it in 1978 on You Tube. I never even heard of Truth before the other day.

The only thing I don't like about there being two tenors is it seems like David has gotten less leads, and that he doesn't sing as high as he used to. It's nice to see him doing this song :)

Josh, it is hard to believe how time flies. I, too, remember that comedy routine Mark and Bill did in Atlanta, the day after he turned 40. Of course when Mark turned 40, he looked like he was 25. LOL I actually only heard Mark for the 1st time last year, so, for me, the last 6 months have been spent catching up, watching all the old stuff, and the new. I love Mark, whether he is putting on Jake Hess' wig many, many, years ago, or seeing him in the Reunited and Better Day videos just this week.
