God would not warn all to get their name written in the book of life or they will be thrown into the lake of fire without clearly and precisely explaining somewhere else HOW to get your name written in the book of life, and also showing you how to prove from scripture that your name is written in the book of life. If you're saved, you're not a "Sinner saved by Grace". This song sounds so great and humble and spiritual, but it is Biblically incorrect! You're a SAINT who sometimes sins. By human logic, if we sin, it sounds like we should be sinners, but that is not correctly scripturally! Dear Christians, YOU are a SAINT who sometimes sins! The SINNER died with Christ, was buried with Christ and is now raised up as a NEW CREATION! (See Romans 6:6-7, I Corinthians 1:2, II Corinthians 5:16-17. Again folks, you're a SAINT who sometimes sins! To call yourself a 'Sinner' is like a butterly calling itself a 'caterpillar'! U don't work your way to heaven. The GIFT of GOD is eternal life through JESUS Christ the LORD. It is without works but by faith alone on the finished work on the cross and not your works . If you believe JESUS will give u the free gift of eternal life ask him to save you .whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. Eternal means once you have the gift you can't loose the gift

Cynthia I believe that God wants us all to be a living testimony to the truth that we are all sinners saved by His Grace. Our lives should be preaching to everyone about what we believe, who we have faith in, how far we have come and how far we have left to go on our journey to heaven. It's not just the preachers responsibility to speak the truth, it's ours as well. God set up a complex system of relationships and communication that requires the saved to support each other, to grow more like Jesus every moment, and to support those in need of being saved by grace. We all need to take on the responsibility of teaching and showing others the beauty of being saved by grace. Blessings from South Eastern Australia, Dot

When I say "preaching" I mean our lives should be showing the fruit of having been saved by grace. When we are saved it begins a gradual process that changes the way we think, feel, communicate, and act. At some point after we are saved we realise we need to align our attitudes, values and beliefs with what God says, not just by changing behaviour but also changing our thoughts and thought patterns, our feelings and how we let feelings influence our mood. God works with us individually to shape us into being more like Jesus so one of us may be further along the road in one aspect of life but struggles with another. That's where sharing our experiences and the lessons we learned from them is so important. We shouldn't leave it up to the leaders or preachers to do it all. Supporting someone else that is currently going thru what you have overcome is so rewarding as well. It reinforces what we learned and teaches us even more. Blessings, Dot
