Short story -- We had to take 2 trips to VBS because a neighbor joined us. Two of my kids waited at our house during the first trip. My 7yo son was one of the ones waiting at home. I found out when I returned that he kept playing this song over and over the whole time I was gone. He is receiving such joy and being blessed to see men having fun singing to the LORD. This just makes me happy. Thank you so much.

This was my mom’s favorite gospel song :) . She had been ill for a few years but she listened to all gospel music and loved Jesus with all her heart. She passed in April of this year from congestive heart failure and I made sure this was played at her service as she didn’t want us to be sad :) . She’s with Jesus now and I love revisiting her favorite music whenever I miss her. Thank you for this song... we’re definitely singing for all the good things the good Lord has done for her and for us :)

Bill and Gloria, the JOY your songs have brought me…… I’ll never forget your music! Reminds me of my dad! My amazing husband died 4 years ago…… what a joy to know I’ll see him again! Amazing how over the years , with numerous changes, the GVB has maintained such a quality of excellence! Bill has done an incredible job of assuring that new members don't just have great voices, but they "fit" the group like a glove and make a unique contribution to the whole! I have always thought that Reg had an awesome voice and was hoping that he would be playing a bigger role in the Homecoming sometime but this is more than I had thought of. Can't wait to see them live sometime soon!

@@herzigharte The GVB was formed in 1980 after a Bill Gaither Trio concert where millions of fans cheered them after Bill and Gary McSpadden, then backup singers Lee Young and Steve Green sang Your First Day In Heaven. They released their first album the next year. Personally, my favorite lineups are from 1982-1985 (Jon Mohr as bass) and 2014-present (Todd Suttles with a bass voice as baritone)... Basically I like to hear the bass

Well, I have not been listening to GVB because it seemed that beautiful spiritual warmth was gone forever. Well..... somehow I really like this one. I miss some of the mellow soulful singing that I heard with the previous "5" but y'all are getting there. I still love the older songs which seem to be missing. I am a fan that visits the recordings but it is not quite the dedication I once had. But, getting better. Thank you Wes for that tenor. Great.
