Having gone through hurricane Michael and losing my house (which even today is still not completely restored) to covid, these last two years have been the worst in my 49 years of life. I came across this video last night and just wept as Mr. Harris preached this song through music. I have been trying to hold life together by my own strength to the point I was ready to walk away from God and the Church. It has been a dark time for me and my family. But it’s not my strength but God’s. And I thank God he had me cross paths with Larnelle through this video. I may never meet Larnelle, but if he happens to see this comment....thank you sir for this song of hope.

Yes, fot 15 years I had an out of control son, which culminated in his death by murder. All I could do was thank God for the time I had. Understanding over the years God is in control at all times. But I rest knowing I will see my son again as he did get saved before he passed. I'll see him again 😊😊😊❤❤✝️🙏

This song sneaks up on you. First verse and chorus lead people to thank God for His miraculous provision that pulls them through against all odds. But 2nd verse and repeat of chorus underscore not just His comfort during suffering, but more so our utmost need for utter surrender to Him even when there are no answers or solutions coming forth in the midst of your long dark stormy night. This is a song man of God Job could have sung before, during, and after his trial, with 3 different flavors for each of the parts of his experience. A song that really runs through you with a piercing sword and leaves you to bleed, yet be comforted at the same time. Mr. Larnelle Harris, you are amazing as always. Few could communicate this song with the holy anointing, piercing expressiveness, and flawless ability as you do. Never stop singing Mr. Harris!!!!!

In the early 70s larnelle stayed with my family in bellaire Tx after his concert at westbury baptist church it was such a special time he performed his concert and we took him out to eat and brought him home and he played our piano and sang for hours to early in the morning was very special to me I was 12 yrs old have pictures with him in our home .great memories he also gave me a signed copy of his 45 O happy days 😊

I have taken voice 1 and voice level 2 at the college level after singing in church choir for about 4 years; I traveled Europe with my Christian college Nazarene singing group; I have very rarely heard the voice control (getting very soft and very powerful -forte) like Larnelle does;. Sorry to put this so bluntly, but I don't enjoy loud singing; I enjoy voice control and clearly this is a classroom example of this ministry of the LORD. This music has the anointing; the anointing breaks the power of the bondages of sin; if you will apply it over time.

So, lastly, I'm inviting you to the Seventh Day Adventist church that is NEAREST to you and make it your #1 priority be ready by God's grace to face the time that is just before us.

I lucked up on this song two years ago when I was in the midst of a long and painful recovery from back surgery. When he go to the part where " the pain just comes in waves" that sounded like me. How could he have known? Of course, he didn't BUT GOD did. This is my favorite song during hard times. I think we all are enduring some sort of pain right now, whether physical, emotional financial or spiritual. You do what you can do, but ultimately God is and He has, the answer. This song has been a blessing to me, and I have shared it with others who need encouragement. God bless us all.
