I would walk into my Mom's room and she would be watching and listening to Gaither Videos. When this song played, I told her how much I liked it. Never knew I would play it one day at her funeral. I played 4 songs and 2 were Gaither songs. This one and I Bowed on my Knees with Michael English. She always said she couldn't wait to physically bow before her Savior and King, Lord Jesus. I have ptsd also. It is starting to get better after years of going essentially untreated, as I just couldn't seem to acknowledge how deeply I held my internalized woundedness. Opening up about my deepest senses of vulnerability has helped immeasurably. You Are in my prayers! You Are Not alone, but alive, meaning, with each breath you will be given the ways and means to heal. Please don't give up! I know how hard this can be! Thank you for posting this song. It saved my life. Depressed over the death of my daughter in 2002,I hated God and everyone. Going thru songs on KZbin one night I found this song. While listening to it, I began to cry. I kept re-playing the song over and over. Lucky for me, the person that posted it also posted the lyrics. I wroe them down and now carry them with me. This song is now helping me deal with the death of my father in Sept of 2012 and now the death of my moher on 2/6/13.

I really like this song and it means a lot more to me I listened to it Monday after I found out that my favorite uncle had had a heart attack and at that moment it felt like my heart was being torn apart from me and there was nothing I could do but pray my uncle was undergoing open heart surgery he is alive because a lot of people prayed for him and is in the recovering process. This has been a hard week for me but im glad that we serve a God that cry's when we cry hurts when we hurt and when we lose someone it feels like a piece of Him is lost as well.

Bill & Gloria Gaither must be some of the best talent finders I've ever known. Marsh Hall, Wes Hampton are perfect together, and when mixed with the other amazing talent, you get some of the best soul stirring songs anyone could ever hope to hear. This song has to touch as many others as it does me. This one's been around for a number of years. I really miss seeing the emotions that course through Marsh's voice. It's always great to hear singers who genuinely appear to believe every word they are singing. Marsh, Wes, Guy hit this one way up to all the angels!! I fear the day, when Bill and or Gloria cannot contribute, I only hope, there are plans to keep these legendary songs current and alive.
