By the way in Mauritius SA Lucky Star tinned fish is nowadays more expensive than fresh local caught tuna due to expensive freight cost.😃Tinned fish curry with brigals and roti was a hit during my childhood days. The dish was done to perfection following your method, the boiled egg just gave it that extra boost, so Mrs Devi I made the dry fish chutney, but it was not dry snoek, it was snoek itself, and guess what I made mealie rice with it, I'm super proud all thanks to you and your amazing videos, I'm not utube with the butter beans recipe, I'm making butter beans with potatoes, stone ground flour and all purpose flour together, let's see how this blends together, I improved so much in cooking, and I have spices and it's dated, thank you so much may God continue to bless you,

We didn't add potatoes as we added the eggs but you can definitely also add potatoes - give them a quick toss in some hurdee and fry them out and add them to the curry with the peas.

Ocean Fresh pickled fish. I don’t think it’s available anymore. Many of the stores have their own store brand curried/pickled fish now.

Hi sorry for the late response. Yes you can on a stove top but on very low heat. It may catch on the bottom but that sometimes makes for the best part of the biryani.
